I'm sorry you didn't like Kona. I'm very intrigued by the menu, and have booked an ADR for my upcoming trip. Good to know the desserts make up for it.

Thank you so much for the great reviews and excellent pictures! I have to admit I'm disappointed about Kona. We're going in April and have made ADRs for Kona. We've never been there before but based our choice on earlier reviews. Sounds like it's gone downhill. We also have ADRs for Le Cellier and I'm hearing that's not what it used to be either. I'm not sure if we should make a swotch or just cross our fingers fand stick with what we've booked. After our WDW stay we'll be sailing on the Wonder so it's going to be a a lot of food. Maybe if it's not that good I won't eat so much!

Please don't change your mind based on my review. I've read so many great reviews just in the last few days on KONA. We may just be victims of ordering the wrong things on the wrong night. Their appetizers and desserts are consistently very good. We've just decided that twice was enough and there are so many new places we want to try!!

Now for LeCellier, we went last year and again last month and both times it was very, very good. I'll be reviewing and posting pics on them soon!

Fantastic reviews and great pics, yummy! Shame about Kona, maybe they were having an off night, that Tuna Oscar has had some great reviews before. We weren't that enthused with the service when we went either but again that is probably a luck of the draw thing.

I'm still gutted they took away the Macadamia Mahi Mahi!!!

Thanks!!! For some reason (maybe I had too many ) I didn't take pics of quite a few martini's towards the end of the trip.

So many others have had their best meals there too, it just wasn't meant to be for us.

We ate at Kona in November, the food was good but the service was terribly slow...

Blue Zoo - Where do I begin???? This was the most wonderful dining experience(the most star-filled for sure) we've ever had on any trip anywhere. I guess we'll start at the entrance:

The atmosphere is electric and funky, you almost feel as if you're underwater. Dave was our server for the night and he was wonderful. Before I get to the incredible food let me address the "star-filled" part of the evening. DS had made a trip to the restroom and when he returned he told us "Joey Fatone just walked in". We thought he was joking but within seconds Mr. Fatone himself was being seated at the table next to us. We were stunned when he invited us over to his table for pics and autographs. He told us that a friend of his would be joining him soon. No sooner had we sat back at our table in walks Drew Lachey! He invited us over also. I'm telling you these two guys were genuine sweethearts, they were so friendly. Here's the pics I took of my son's girlfriend with each of them:

Now to the good stuff. Be warned the prices here are steep but worth every penny. DS ordered the Margherita Flatbread and not sure what GF's appy was. They both raved over their choices.

DH & I shared the Shellfish Selection Platter, which could have easily been shared by four.We know good, fresh seafood and I'm telling you this was an incredible assortment of Lobster, Oysters, Clams, Shrimp, Ceviche, Tuna Cruda and Dipping Sauces. We were in heaven!!!!!

Onto the entrees. I already knew what I was going to order after reading reviews here on the DIS - the Cantonese Lobster which was fried and tossed in a sticky Soy Glaze. DH ordered the same thing and we both agreed this was the best lobster dish we've ever had.

DS ordered the Surf & Turf which was a Beef Tenderloin and Butter Poached Lobster Tail. Sorry, he'd already dug in by the time I took the pic. His GF ordered the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass which was served with warm Sesame Spinach and Pea Tendril Salad. I tasted the Bass and it was the best piece of fish I've ever tasted, just like butter!!!!

I honestly can't say enough about this amazing restaurant but I can rate it with 5 thumbs up being the best -

Will we return? That's a dumb question.

Oh my, the Blue Zoo looks amazing. But, it might be too rich (and not food wise but cost wise) for our blood!
