We just returned from DW yesterday and used the free dining plan so I thought I would give our dining reviews.

Friday:
Dinner at All Star Sports
Overall the food was good, I had a Cheesesteak sandwich and fries. It was actually really good with alot of flavor. Other family members had Taco Salad which they said was really good, my nephew had Nachos which he loved because they had so much cheese. The only person really disappointed was my boyfriend, he had Chicken parmesan and said it was pretty blah. Overall a good experience. Ice cream sundaes for desert were enourmous and delicious.

Saturday:
Character Breakfast at Donald's Breakfastourous.
The food was decent, the kids loved the fact that they could eat Krispy Kremes, the cheesy hashbrowns were wonderful as was the breakfast pizza. The biscuits and gravy were ok, typical buffet line biscuits and gravy.
Dinner:
Planet Hollywood
Our one horrible experience of the week. The service was HORRIBLE, the food was very bland and after all was said and done, we waited an hour for the waitress to bring us back our cards. The only thing that was even worthy of calling good was the chicken tenders. They had a honey flavored coating and were really good. We have never had bad service or food here but this was bad enough we won't return.

Sunday:
Off property

Monday:
Breakfast at hotel,
Everyone said their food was good, the homefries were delicious, the biscuits and gravy had a strange flavor and a not so great aftertaste. The omelots were delicious.
Dinner:
Columbia Harbour House:
I had the Starboard deck sandwich that was absolutely delicious. The chips were gross but the Apple pie was delicious. Pretty much everyone else had Fish and Chips and thought they were pretty good as well.

Tuesday:
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
Suprisingly this was absolutely delicious. Family style rolls and honey butter (YUM) and salad. Then macaroni and cheese, dressing, roast beef, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. For dessert Cherry Cobler and ice cream. Everything was delicious, the green beans were cooked in some type of butter and garlic sauce and were excellent. The mashed potatoes were perfect.

Wednesday:
Lunch:
Studio Catering Company
I had Steak Gyro style which was delicious and the rice had a great flavor as well. My sil had the Chicken Stew which was excellent, my mom had Smoked Sausage which she wasn't very fond of at all. The fresh fruit eclair was pretty good as well.
Dinner:
50's Prime Time Cafe
For starters we had Onion Rings which were perfect and Fried Boursin Cheese which was so delicious. I had grilled chicken which was great and mashed potatoes, probably the only meal that I actually finished it was so good. DB had meatloaf that he thought was excellent. Mom had Pot Roast which she said melted in her mouth. My sil had fried chicken which she thought was a little greasy but still tasted great. For desert we had Dad's super sundae which none of us could finish. The cracker jacks were a little too much for me and way to much whip cream but the brownie and ice cream were delicious.

Thursday:
Breakfast Electric Umbrella
The kids had french toast which was excellent, I had a bagel sandwich that was actually soft and delicious, DH had an omelet, noone had any complaints here.
Dinner:
Whispering Canyon
The all you can eat was excellent, the cornbread was soft and buttery and delicious. The pulled pork was kind of blah, but the ribs were excellent. DH had Wild West Wings that were the best I've ever had, DB had the nachos that were enourmous and delicious. SIL had Glazed pork chops that she said were delicious, DH had steak that he was was perfect. For desert I had a banana dustbowl that was absolutely the best desert I've ever had.
Friday and Saturday Off property. :grouphug: ::MinnieMo

Cllong75,

The chips at CHH were gross??? How can potato chips be gross? Okay, confession time, I am addicted to chips. I have yet to meet a bag I wouldn't scarf down! ;)

Thanks so much for posting! I am already planning on ordering that dustbowl dessert at WL. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad you liked it!

I am thinking the "Chips" are french fries. I know when fish and chips are served the chips are french fries - as they are called in the UK. "Crisps" are potatoe chips.
I am not for sure as I have not eaten at CHH.

Nothing worse than bad french fries. But I have never had bad potatoe chips either!!

pirate: Thanks for the reviews. I'm happy about the good review for WCC. We are going for the first time in October to the WCC for dinner.

The Fish and Chips were french fries and they were good, but with my sandwich, I had actual Potato chips. They were "all natural" and as my dh said, they didn't have any additives and to me they tasted like they were already stale.

This cracked me up! I love the tuna at CHH and the bag of chips comes with it. I forget the name of the brand the have at CHH, but they are just like Cape Cod brand potato chips up here. It's like eating chips of glass!

Give me a spud with oil and salt!

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for posting.

A tuna sandwich and kettle-cooked chips? YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

"Chips of glass..." You crack me up! :rotfl:
