This will be a short dining review due to my short term memory.
Boma: Thoroughly enjoyed this one. I loved the pork tenderloin that was seasoned with curry and coconut. The desserts were delicious and I really enjoyed the banana bread pudding.
Artist Point: Again, delicious. I had the salmon and had requested that it be cooked well since I usually like it more on the dry side. When it came, it was cooked as I had requested but I think it was a different type of salmon because it was more white than pink. A little odd but it was great.
LeCellier: Probably our best. I can't even remember what I had but I recall that we all enjoyed our food. My daughter like her Northern Lights drink with the lit ice cube best. Our waitress, Holly, was the best of the entire week too.
Citrico's: I made a meal of appetizers instead of having dinner. The crab appetizer was excellent as was my goat cheese salad and tomato corn crab soup. We're pretty regular people and while the server was very nice and knowledgable, we felt a little out of our element there. We probably won't return only because of that. Nothing bad about the food or service, it just wasn't for us.
Cape May: This is our 5th time at this restaurant for dinner and each time we didn't like it. We keep trying it again because we usually stay at BC and it's convenient. However, this last visit convinced us that we probably won't do it again. You see the shrimp, mussels and clams and think that it's a great buffet but the shrimp is chewy and uncleaned while the mussels and clams are gritty. However, my daughter and I did the character breakfast here and really enjoyed the eggs, mickey waffles, fruit, bacon, and bread pudding.
Rose and Crown: Had fish & chips for lunch because I always have this at least once during our visit. I love it.
Earl of Sandwich: I loved the sandwiches here. However, be aware that the PB&J comes warm. It kind of freaked my daughter out.
O'Hana: We always love it here. The food was great but when our waiter stopped by as if we were finished and he was questioning if there was anything else we would like, we told him that we had only been served once (beef and turkey). We hadn't received the pork or shrimp yet. Service was pretty slow but friendly.
On our last night it was pouring rain and we had cancelled our PS at Yachtsman Steakhouse just because we were tired of having large meals. We ended up ordering room service. My husband ordered a burger and said "I know this is going to suck but I'm hungry." It all ended up tasting very good. We also had the tomato buffalo salad which was great.
Lunch at Pecos Bill one day and it was fine. My son had the chicken wrap, husband and I had burgers and daughter had chili cheese fries. Nobody had any complaints.
I paid 50.00 for the Dining card and with all of the food and drinks we bought, we saved about 150.00. It was worth the price of the card.

Wild salmon is whitish whereas "farmed" salmon is pinkish. My DH worked at a seafood distributor.

Thanks for answering my question of the salmon. I was beginning to wonder if it was what I was eating or not.

Thanks for posting the nice reviews. We will be trying for the first time Boma, LeCellier and O'hana. I'm sooo addicted to these food threads! Only 5 weeks to go :cool1:

Great family photo :goodvibes

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for posting.

Thank you for the reviews. You confirmed my Le Cellier ADR thoughts and also Cape May Cafe. I have a friend that raves about Cape May, but he went 5 years ago! Reviews have been negative recently, so I think we will stick with Prime Time for our MGM day.

Great family picture! :sunny:

Actually it's the opposite. Wild salmon is always pink/orange and farm raised are white unless there diet is supplimented with "astaxanthin" in their feed. The food that salmon in the wild eat make them pink/orange. Salmon farms add "astaxanthin" to the feed so the salmon will be pink.

My uncle lives in Oregon were we eat plenty of fresh Copper River salmon and it is always bright orange/pink.

That is the fish lesson of the day. :rotfl:
