Ok here is my quick reviews if you want more exact details let me know, I saved every receipt and can probably comment about it all from what everyone ordered to what we paid. We used the free dining plan and yes they do pool the credits and I paid for the children so we could enjoy more places and EVERY single CM when I explained I was paying for the children NEVER had a problem and stated sure you may use your credits any way you like, even the CM at Coral Reef said we were smart to do it that way and she recommends it to people. Now on with my reviews

8/25 8:00 a.m. Ohana Breakfast.
We were one of the first people there seated very quickly had the characters all to ourselves multiple times. the kids loved the parade around the restaurant. the food was average but loved the atmosphere.

8/25 4:30 p.m. Coral Reef
My favorite!! We were 3rd to be seated, asked to be seated in the tank area and we were. I had the crab cake appetizer, lobster entree and the wave for dessert. DH had the beef skewers and lobster , he loved the lobster also. dd2 had the macaroni and cheese and ate the WHOLE BOWL, ds7 had the pizza and ate it all and ds5 had the grilled mahi and didn't like it so shared our lobsters. It was all DELICIOUS! I was afraid to try the lobster because I only had it once before elsewhere and didn't like it but the CM recommended so I tried it.
Our waitress was wonderful!

8/28 8:00 a.m. Chef Mickey
It was already beginning to get crowded when we arrived however we were able to interact with the characters while waiting and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was good and all the characters came to the table I just felt rushed to get pics there was interaction but we received more at other places. I loved the buffet it was good and alot of variety especially for my picky children. It was also a large buffet so I didn't have to wait inline at all to get our food and I felt comfortable sending my ds7 and ds4 to get their own food.

8/28 5:25 p.m. Sci Fi
Again we loved this place however when we arrived we had to wait and be seated about 20 mins. The place was mobbed. The atmosphere was great and the CM's we had played their roles well. We had our own car and the light up drinks were a hit with the kids in the dark. Our waiter was so cool he jumped on the car and took an aerial photo of all of us. I had 7 bean chili after a recommendation from the waiter and I acutally enjoyed it and I had penne with shrimp and it was delicious the shrimp was cooked perfectly. DH ordered the Onion rings which he liked and ate all of and the flat iron steak which he liked but I wasn't impressed when I tasted it however he did have it medium rare bleh! We also had the sundaes for dessert and although we were wet from the rain and freezing we couldn't leave the sundaes!

8/29 7:15 p.m. Hoop De Doo
My kids LOVED this dinner. They actually all stayed in their seats and my ds has ADHD. and my 2 yr old sat also. It was funny when they came out the plopped the bucket of chicken right in front of my daughter and her eyese bulged (great pic) My ds5 said this was his favorit. We couldn't even finish all the chicken! We finished everything else though! and the bread and whipped butter couldn't be any better we ate two of the 3 loaves. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the dessert strawberry shortcake (and that's my favorite dessert) the kids wouldn't even try any of it.The cast kept coming to our table and talking to my daughter and we made our ressies 3 months prior and were right up front to the right.

8/30 8:00 a.m. Breakfastsaures
Again we had another long wait. We weren't overly impressed with this one. We were able to meet all the characters but we were seated all the way in the trailer in a booth and everytime they came to our table the kids all had to climb out and try to manuever to get a good picture. The buffet line was way too long and not set up the best. the food was your average breakfast foods. However we got pics taken before we were seated and it turned out to be at great one of just the 3 kids.

8/30 4:45 p.m. Rainforrest Cafe
Seated immediately! Place got crowded right after when the park closed. The kids enjoyed their light up cups and everyone kept wanting one when we walked out and were asking about them. We ordered drinks and also got the glass it came in (clean one in the box though) that says rainforrest cafe orlando, fl. I had the shrimp platter and was very pleased it was yummy. The kids had the Pizza and Shrimpkens and there was no complaints there either.

8/31 8:05 a.m. Crystal Palace
Beautiful place to eat! Food again was your average breakfast food although my hash browns were a bit salty. Our waitress went out of her way to get my kids their soy milk chocolate at that as they are lactose intolerant. When she asked if they wanted milk they chimed in yeah as I cringed explaining they couldn't have regular milk. She kept them coming though. The character interaction was quick although my kids loved the little parade they did around the room. The only thing that annoyed me was watching the family before ours holding up the characters so all the characters all ended up at their table at once so they could get a group shot as my children watched and waited patiently for them to come to our table. Not the characters fault just a rude family. I always am trying to get a pic quickly because I know the next family would like their turn as well.

8/31 4:00 p.m. Liberty Tree
VERY DISAPPOINTING! Seated immediately, waiter was terrible gave us our drinks and disappeared came back with the food and poof he was gone and there wasn't even enough ham for everyone and that is what everyone wanted so we had to wait forever for him to come back to request more. Characters took a very long time getting to the table and didn't stay long at all not even sure if we seen them all.

9/2 7:00 p.m. Whispering Canyon
VERY IMPRESSIVE my kids had the most fun here. They made extra long straws for my sons drink, we had a very interactive night. The loved the pony races and did it 2 times. My daughter kept getting up so they tied her to the chair. We had all the ketchup brought to our table. My DH got picked to hand out the certificates because he was taking pics of our kids doing the pony race. Not only did our CM interact with us but about 4 or 5 others did as well and it wasn't just our table it was alot of the tables around us it was great. I had the nachos appetizer and we ordered all you can eat skillet for 2. Kids ordered macaroni and peanut butter and jelly. we had 2 banana dust bowls and we ate them all!!

Well that's all I have any questions feel free to ask away.

When you are going to pay for your kids food, did you tell the waitress at the time you were ordering? Do you get a separate ticket for what you used for the dining plan and your childs dinner? We may pay for one of our kids TS on night, my son will have an extra one the night we go to Teppanyaki because he doesn't like it but is going to eat a burger or something from CS before we go to that AR.

Your reviews were very good, thanks for sharing.

Great reviews! I appreciate how detailed you were in describing the feel and atmosphere of the restaurants. :)

Thanks for your reviews. We think Crystal Palace is Beautiful and we also like WCC !! Thanks for the review

I am so sorry that you had a bad time at Liberty Tree. :guilty: We were there for dinner on 8/29 and had a fantastic experience! We got to see each of the characters twice and had a great server. It just goes to show how a CM having an off day can really alter your experience. The only thing, I thought Mickey was going to be there and he wasn't, but Minnie was. Maybe I misread the description.

Thanks for the report!

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Yes I told the waitress at the time of ordering if I remembered but there were times I told them after they brought the bill or right before they brought the bill. When they brought the final bill there was one for what I was paying for and then the one with the dining credits. I signed both and left a tip for the meals that i paid for.

With the long lines at Donald's Breakfastosaurus, what time were you finished? Do you think a 10:30 reservations would be better?

Thanks for your reviews,

Lori

I just looked at the time on our receipt and we were finished by 9:09, after we got seated we had enough time to get through the buffet and as we were just getting seated the characters came took our pics finished our meal and then I did buy the pic so I had to wait around for that so I would guess we were out of there by 9:30.

Thanks for the reviews, we're going to WCC for the first time next month and hopefully will have a fun experience like yours.

Where is Hoop De Doo held? Is it outside? We are going in January and I was just curious if it might be too cold then?
