Dining reservations affected by virus

Monday morning 11:20 am called WDW DINE regarding a dining PS for a day trip tomorrow, and was told that the commputer virus that started a couple of days ago has infected Disneys reservations system nation-wide. Anyone else having this problem before today? Not sur if this is the right place to post this, but here it is anyway.

I read in the newspaper on Sunday about a computer virus that infected the the internet on Saturday. It supposidy slowed and disrupted "hundreds of thousands" of systems world-wide. I wonder if this is what Disney is experiencing.

I read on the resort forum this morning that no one could make resort reservations this morning either.

When I tried to make DVC reservations today I was told they were having computer problems. I've since read that the problems are company wide. What a bummer.

Probably not.. it sounds to me as if they have an intrAnet problem as opposed to an intErnet problem

They have probably shut down their servers as a precaution. I am sure they don't want to be hit by the virus. Better to be safe than sorry.

I just called at 4:50 pm and the computers are still down. What a bummer for them and us. Hope they get it cleared up soon.

If it's an intrAnet problem, they are not admitting it. They are blaming the virus. Wonder what it really is?
