Dining reservation question

Hi all,
Just booked our 50th Birthday trip for next September. I have never made TS reservations before, last time we just "went whenever". I see mention of 180+10...not sure exactly what that means. We are going to be in the world 9/17-9/27 on a free dining plan. When can I begin making TS reservations?

180 days from the first day of your trip. According to the reservation calculator that is March 21, 2011.

180 plus 10 means you can call on that day and make reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days) instead of calling or going online at the 180 day mark of every day of your trip. They will need your resort reservation number.
