Dining Recommendations for 4th of July fireworks viewing outside of MK

We are doing a resort-only stay over the 4th of July and will be at AKL. We'd like to see the 4th of July fireworks from outside the MK. Do we need to do a sit-down restaurant or would we still have decent viewing opportunities if we dined at a QS location at one of the resorts on the Monorail loop? We're hoping to keep costs down, so QS would be preferred. If we do need a TS meal, what recommendations do people have? We will have a vegetarian and another person with gluten and dairy allergies in our group.

In a normal day you could go to Polynesian or Grand Floridian, and just watch fireworks from the beach or the cafe… with QS available in both….

Don’t know though if they restrict access to guests only or if it is just a matter of getting there early…

They have restricted access to the monorail resorts on and around the July 4th holiday for those reasons. You won't even be allowed to place a mobile order for the QSR locations there. They block off the Poly beach area to Poly guests only, not sure what they do at the CR and Bay Lake Towers/GF. Best bet would be to make a reservation for a table service restaurant.

I believe the 4th floor walkway (between the CR and BLT) and GF beach are roped off for resort guests only.

You can watch the fireworks from the TTC ferry dock - it’s a great view, and they pipe in the music. So if you can find a QS to eat at, you can ride the monorail around to the TTC, watch the fireworks, and be ahead of the crowds leaving afterwards! (If you don’t have an ADR at a table service restaurant, you’ll have to park at the TTC to eat at any of the QS restaurants.)
