Dining Plan -- Table Service at any meal?

I'm sure this questions has been answered a million times before so I apologize for asking...........

With the Dining Plan, can the one table service meal be a used at any time of the day? I know the better deal would likely be to use it for dinner but I prefer some restaurants for breakfast or lunch. I'm weighing everything out (cost of plan vs cost of paying out of pocket, etc.) but wanted to make sure you could use the table service at any meal before I started making plans.

You can use the table service for either breakfast,lunch or dinner. You can also get the value out of it if you use it for a character breakfast or lunch. I will be using the dining plan at our trip at the end of the month and I think we will be saving a lot of money.

we used it for all 3. Chef Mickey's breakfast and Cinderella Table breakfast, 50s Prime time for lunch and lots of them for dinners...

Even using those 3 meals as breakfast/lunch we easily saved tons of money with the plan

The biggest benny of the plan for me is the convenience. No worries about what to order or how to pay, etc. We have 6 meal plan days on our vacation. 3 are dinners, 2 are lunches, and one is a character breakfast. There are surely ways to maximize every penny by paying for a meal and doubling up credits at an expensive signature restaurant. For some, that's a good plan, as they really enjoy the fine dining. Our tastes are simpler...we're meat and potato folks. We'll definately save oney using the plan, but I'm not concerned with maxxing out that savings. The one scenario that would make the plan a non-money saver is a picky or small eater family. I would say that the plan is not well suited there.

It's a long winded way of saying, Don't just judge the plan by the dollars and cents, consider the other intangibles. And don't get wrapped around the axle overplanning and strategizing. Plan for what you like to do and enjoy the convenience and savings.
