We usually pick up a small breakfast (donut, box of cereal, milk, juice) at the resort before heading out to the parks. Do any of these things count for a snack, or is the snack choice really limited to frozen ice cream bar, box of popcorn, 20 oz bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani water or a medium fountain soft drink at select snack cart locations?

Just wondering as I am trying to figure out if the dining plan would be worth it for us.

Thanks!

When I went frozen ice cream bar, box of popcorn, 20 oz bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani water or a medium fountain soft drink or mickey rice crispie treat was pretty much all you could get.

where is the rice crispie treats?
We usually get them at the main street bakery, and the Poly snack shop has them, so I would think any of the resort snack stops have them too. They are delicious, the ears are dipped in Choc.

At many of the CS restaurants and vending carts, there are purple logos next to menu items (marked DDP) that indicate Disney Dining Plan snack choices. At the Mara, they had baskets of chips, fruit, rice krispy treats, bags of candy, etc. with the logos and they were clearly marked as snacks. We found CMs to be helpful when asking what was included.

We used some snack credits for 1/2 pints of milk, bottles of water and soda, etc.
