Sept 1/05 - Breakfast - Our own bagels and a side of bacon at POP Food court. $2.02 out of pocket.
Lunch - Lottawatta Lodge at Blizzard Beach - DH and I shared a hot dog meal and DS had a cheeseburger meal, 2 chocolate chip cookies, 2 cokes (about $28).
Dinner - Liberty Tree Tavern - Character Dinner - Started with salad with strawberry dressing which we really didn't like, just because we didn't like the dressing. Then platter of ham, turkey, flank steak, stuffing and mashed potatoes, and green beans which were absolutely delicious. The meats were all tender and moist and delicious, if we had room we would have asked for more. Dessert was cherry cobbler and vanilla ice cream. DS had the dessert and I just had the ice cream, DH doesn't like either so he had nothing. All in all it was a very nice dinner with great character interaction. All the characters came by twice for pictures. Our server was very nice and very fast (good for her as she was 7 months pregnant!!). $91.10 (3 TS left).
Snacks - 2 Sodas while waiting for TT FP's (7 snacks left).
Late night snack during EEH at EPCOT - Bakery at Norway - DS and I shared a milk and a cinnamon roll and DH had a coffee and a fresh waffle and strawberry jam. Very, very yummy!!
Sept. 2/05 - Breakfast - Grab and Go at POP Food Court - 2 Chocolate Croissants, 1 Apple danish and 1 chocolate milk $12.32 paid out of pocket.
Lunch - Liberty Inn - DH had a turkey sandwich and slaw and a strawberry shortcake and a soda and DS and I shared chicken strips and fries and an apple cobbler which was gross, apple pie filling with crumbs on the top, and a soda $26.57 (3 CS left)
Dinner - BOMA - We checked in really early for our ADR because the weather was really awful. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. We loved the chicken corn porridge and DS and I ate 2 bowls of it ourselves!! I would love the recipe!! The prime rib was awesome too. DH loves the steak there even though it was sirloin steak this time instead of flank steak!! At least here you can still order smoothies on the dining plan. DH had a raspberry smoothie and DS and I had Cappuccino Frosts which were delicious. $105.64 0 TS left! It is still our favourite way to end our trips. We love our dinners here.
Sept 3/05 - Breakfast - Check out day - Chocolate chip pancake platters all around with chocolate milks for DS and I and apple juice for DH, 3 bananas and then we used up the remaining snack credits by getting some iced teas and chips for the drive home.
The dining plan was definately worth doing and even if we had to pay for it it would be worth it. The total we would have spent on Table services alone would have been $1661.24. The counter services and snacks were $432.36 but I know that it was even more, but we didn't have some receipts I'm sure of it. If anyone has any questions about the restaurants we ate at, or the dining plan itself I'd be glad to help.
