Dining Plan Questions

Quick questions...

Are appetizers included with the table service? It lists appetizers (Guests 3-9 only).

Are not all restaurants in EPCOT part of the dining plan? I did not see Marroco on the list.

On the DxDP, appetizers are included for all participants. On the DDP, only kids get appetizers and only those appetizers that are on the separate kids' menus.

Not all restaurants on WDW property participate. Restaurant Marrakesh, the TS in Morocco, is a current participant if you are looking at the 2011 list. If you are looking at 2012, the 2012 list is not finalized until sometime in December. There are almost never any changes from one year to the next; make your ADRs based on this year's participating restaurants and you should be fine.

On the regular dining plan, no. On the DxDDP, yes. Keep in mind that the "appetizer" for the kids meal is often not that great. They tell you what it is. It's not something you can look a the menu and pick any appetizer. For example, at Kona Cafe it is soup or a salad. At Tony's Town Square it is carrot stick with dressing or a salad.

On the Basic Dining Plan it is one Counter Service, One Snack and one Table Service per NIGHT of your stay. TS includes entree, desert and drink. It does not include an appetizer.

On the Deluxe Dining Plan credits can be used at either Counter Service or Table Service. On the Deluxe Plan TS does include an Appetizer, Entree, Dessert and beverage

Just ate at Marrakesh (Morraco) this week on regular DDP. Wonderful! We were able to upgrade to a feast for $8 a person and would highly recommend that! With that we were able to have soup, beef brewat rolls and an entree that was a sampling including Shish kabob, chicken kabob and lamb. The dessert was a trio of desserts each.

If you pick resteraunt righ you will never feel you are lacking an appetizer. We did purchase soup at Le Cellier but they also had an upgrade you could purchase.
