Dining Plan Question

We have purchased the dining plan for our family trip in June. I have heard people talk about using the plan for the adult meals and paying cash for the kids meals. Can you do this at buffet meals also? We have scheduled several sit-down meals and would like to do these the cheapest way possible. Sorry if this question has already been answered somewhere else.

Yes, Just tell the server in advance that you have the dining plan and others are paying for their meal. We were with a large group and did this every night with no problems in March.
