we have reg dining plan for 3 adults dd is 10. is it frowned upon to use 2 credits and buy dd a childs meal oop.....
 
Quick service, this is fine. Table service, you will be more or less best off spending your 2 adult and 1 child points all at once, tho you certainly don't have to. The only place you'll have to spend all 3 at once is at character meals or fixed price buffets.

Except OP doesn't have a child credit; her child is a Disney adult, so they can save that adult credit and eat at more TS restaurants.

Oh, 10 right. For some reason my mind was on 11 being the adult age. Yes in that case definitely better to save those adult TS credits for where they will be more valuable.
