Dining plan question

Sorry if this has been answered before. This is our first time staying on property and we are buying the dining plan (used PIN code for room). We are there for 4 nights but only using 3 park days as 2 of our days are travelling because we have a long drive. Is it possible to just get a 3 day dining plan or do we HAVE to have 4 days since we're staying 4 nights? I was just trying to think if that's one place we could save a little money and get the park hopper instead

dining plan is based on length of stay- so you have to keep it all nights unless you break your reservation and shorten it. You could book a room only, or at a less expensive resort-if you think that you will not be going to the park-you could even stay off site.

I would just make a signature dining selection or do a breakfast buffet and not worry too much about it.

When we drove and were in your situation, we used up all of our extra meals, snacks and put them in a cooler for the ride home
