Dining Plan & Magic Band quick question

We have 2 different families traveling together on 2 different reservations - the reservations are linked on MDE so that we could do the FP+ reservations together. But, are the dining credits linked as well? Ex - if we go to TS meal - do we need to use a magic band from both reservations to pay. Thanks.

Dining credits are linked to each ressi. One person can make a ADR for the whole group but you will have to use the two individual dining plans. You just tell the server who is on which plan.
