Is there a recent listing of all the participating restaurants, counter service, and snack places for the Dining package? We are planninga trip with friends for next October and I suggested that they use the dining plan(a way to save on cash on hand once down there). But since I have a DDE I usually just use that for any discounts(which has been well over $500 since I first got the card in March) and I don't know much about the dining plan. I suggested that with the plan they could use the CS for lunches, TS for dinners and use snacks at the leisure and then we can use our DDE for breakfast at PC! Sounds like a good plan to me as long as the restaurants we'll want to eat ate are on the Dining plan. How much extra cash would you suggest for someone when using the dining package? They are a family of 4(2 adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 6 at time of trip).

Yep, it's on the Disney website. Look under the "Tickets and Reservations" section and select "Packages." Once there, click on "Magic Your Way plus Dining." There's a link in there to the participating restaurants.

After you get your list go to www.allearsnet.com to get menus from the different restaurants.

As I don't have young children I can't speak on the children's menus, but the 5 of us (with boys 11,13,14) did not buy any food extra except we did get the resort mugs. Since we were driving we brought muffins and bagles for breakfast and a case of water. We ended up taking muffins home with us as we were eating desert from the night before for breakfast. We also got mickey treats at the end to take home with our lft over snack credits. We were not hungry!!

For CS you can substitute a fruit bowl for fries. We did that and took the fruit bowl with us and snacked on that mid-afternoon while waiting for a show.

I noticed that a lot of snack places with menus at allears are missing on Disney's dining plan list, like the farmer's market in toontown and Anaheim produce at MGM. I'm interested in these because they have fresh fruit. Does anyone know if they're covered by the plan?

try mouseforless.com for a complete of participating restaurants, they have a downloadable diagram that you can print and fold it together like a little book. I did that and it is very useful.
