Dining Plan for trip planned thru Travelocity

For some reason, i booked my flight & hotel through Travelocity instead of the Walt Disney site. I bought my park tickets on Walt Disney. I tried to add the Dining Plan and was told I had to book through the Magic Your Way in order to add this. Has anyone had any luck adding the Dining Plan when booking the trip with another company?

Hi there Just to let you know..to take advantage of the dining plan you must reserve a magic your way package thru disney. That's means you must book a hotel (on property) and tickets to be eligible for the dining. I would consider the free dining and rebook with disney.

That's the part I don't understand....i'm staying at the Pop Century(through Travelocity), plus bought the park tickets through Disney, but can't get the Dining Plan through Disney....btw, i won't use Travelocity again--they have been terrible about making room requests at the Pop Century.

What the OP is trying to say is... you HAVE to book EVERYTHING as a package through ONE TA i did mine thru AAA)-

you cant book a room with one and tickets w/ another.

the dining is PART of a package.

Last year I booked room only, and bought my tickets Magic your way tickets online at Disney.com - then the free dining. Because I bought them at Disney.com I sent them back, they refunded me the tickets, I had to rebook the room, Disney refunded my money there too - then I booked the package - room, tickets, dining, and got the "Free dining" ...
