Dining Plan Credits Question?

Hi! My family and I are going to Disney for the 2nd time this August and I'm currently working on making our dining reservations.I just have one question, for the magic your way dining plan (1 snack, 1 quick service, and 1 table service) do you get credits for the day you arrive and the day you leave? On our last trip we had so many extra credits that we ended up not using. Ive heard that you get credits for every night that you are staying there, meaning that we would get credits for the day we arrive but not the day we leave? am i making sense? I just want to get an idea of the total credits that we will have in order to try and plan accordingly.

Credits are allocated per NIGHT you stay. Not per day. If you stay 7 nights you get 7 TS, 7 CS and 7 snacks per person, and it is up to you to use them before you leave.

You don't get "credits for the first day" or "credits for the last day." You get all of your credits as soon as you check in, and you decide where and when to use them. The credits expire at midnight AFTER you check out, so if you have any left on your check-out day, you can use them.
