I am new to DVC and have a question on making reservations before I purchase the dinning plan.
I was told I can make reservations before I purchase the dining plan but for the special shows like the Hoop Dee Do I would need to pay cash for this and get reimbursed when I add the dining plan to my reservation. But I am getting conflicting stories from member services. The one person said when I add the dining plan they would just switch it over and I would get reimbursed but the other person said they would need to cancel my reservation to switch it over and there is no guarantee that I would be able to get the same reservation and it would be better to be credited at the time of the dinner reservation when we are checking into the show.
Does anyone know what is true about this. Has anyone done this and can let me know how this really works? I would really appreciate any feedback on this subject.
