If you don't want to drive to far, head out past DTD, in between DTD hotels, Hotel Blvd. At the end of the road at the light are lot of restaurant's, Red Lobster, Uno (pizza) Perkins( best muffin's ever we always get some to take back to the room for breakfast the next day), McDonald's - most of these are chains, but fast and easy and consistent. If you turn right and head under the interstate I-4, there is Landry's and Bahamas Breeze , left at that light is Panera's, and a few other restaurants and a outlet mall and a Publix store if you need to pick up things for the room. ;0 , Turn left at the light (at DTD ) and there are more restaurant's. Charlie's Steakhouse is over on I-Drive, pricey but great food.

Our absolute must do when we are at Disney is eat at Flippers Pizza (more than once if we can fit it in). They have some of the best pizza (and garlic bread sticks) we have ever had. We have been to the one in Old Towne Celebration and the Lake Buena Vista one right off Hotel Blvd past DTD. Our favorite is probably the Lake Buena Vista one solely because they have more space than the Old Town location. Food is always great at both.

I agree with Flippers! We LOVE it and always go multiple times when we are there!!!!

We must have hit Miller's Ale House on a bad day or something...I don't get what all the hubbub is about. We had a horribly inattentive waiter and the food was just mediocre bar food. We had a much better meal at Chevy's, which surprised me.

FLIPPERS! Also Earl of Sandwich (is that still considered on property?) Bahama breeze us a good offering sorta feels like a disney themed restaurant

Chevy's is a mexican place not far from DTD. Its at the corner of Hotel Plaza Blvd and 535.

Sweet Tomatoes is also in the shopping center where Chevy's is. Sign up for their coupons and they often have 4 can dine for $20.00. We always make at least one visit there each trip.
