Dining in Mexico

I am confusd as to what is under refurb in Epcot's Mexico this summer (currently). Is the TS or QS eatery closed?

It is the eatery located outside the Mexico Pavilion on World Showcase Lagoon. The actual Pavilion itself is not under refurbishment.

And will it be QS or TS when it reopoens? I remember that initially, they planned for it to be QS during the day, switching over to TS at night. But then I thought I read a few weeks ago that they'd scrapped that "switch over" idea and were going with just one type all day. Anyone know which?

All the news on it continues to mention both QS & TS. This link to a story just a couple of weeks ago from Orlando WESH, television news seems to continue with the idea that it will be operated as two types. I don't think there will be a switch-over...sounds more like the QS will be open all the time, and the table service portion will be open for dinner only from 4:00 p.m. on.

To clear it up a little bit, it's basically reopening as a new building with 2 restaurants. One QS and one TS. Cantina will be the QS as normal. Hacienda will be the TS that opens at around 4pm for dinner.

I personally find it easier to think of it as two different restaurants . Gets away from the naming and planning confusion.
