Hi Everyone. I'm new here and am wondering if anyone can answering a few questions for me.

We are traveling to WDW in October

We are already booked for : Be Our Guest lunch, 1900 Park Fare Dinner, TREX Dinner, House of Blues Dinner,

I would like to book one more place.. And am thinking of Whispering Canyon. Question.. The reservation available is 7:35 pm. Is that too late for the fun stuff that happens there? We have three kids 4,7&10 and don't want to waste my time booking that if all the fun things are typically done by then.

We have been to Disney before.. But this is our first time really making Dining reservations and eating at all these special places. We have always just ate at the hotel or grabbed quick service meals when there.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for fun places other ( we are not going to Hollywood Studios this trip )

Our youngest is a little girl and two other are boys.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome! I would say that's a perfect time. And I think your children are at just the right ages to enjoy WCC -my kids always enjoyed it when they were younger ...they still enjoy it today actually!

Here's some ideas for fun dining with kids:
'Ohana - it may not be easy to snag an ADR, but stuff opens all the time. Keep checking! This is my family's #1 dining location. During dinner there are coconut races, live entertainment, and possibly fireworks (if timed right.)

'Ohana or Cape May Character breakfasts: IMHO these 2 are the best of the bunch! 'Ohana is great because the food is served family style and Cape May is great because it is very laid-back and relaxed.

I would probably add a character buffet--Tusker House, Crystal Palace, or Garden Grill. We've never done Whispering Canyon.

Also wanted to say, we are going in October as well and have boys age 10 and 7 and girl age 4!

WCC is a HOOT! DGS (now 21) still loves going there!!! The first time we went he was 9 I believe. A must do whenever he goes!

I think you will be ok time wise at Whispering Canyon. Just to be sure, you might give them a call. I like your choices of TRex and House of Blues. They are my favorites at Disney Springs. Someone suggested Ohana, that is great place for food and entertainment.

There is not a direct phone line to any Disney restaurant

7:35 may be a bit on the late side for dinner for a family at home but for disney restaurants it is still hours from closing time. You should be fine :)

We've eaten at WCC around 7:30 a few times now. The restaurant is still full and the antics are still lively. That's not an issue. I will caution that we've usually been seated slightly after our ADR time and have found WCC to run behind schedule a bit.
