I will be making our 180 day reservations next week and would like some help with that.

We will be on the dining plan in September and have 6 table service credits each. Right now, there are 7 credits I want to reserve (Ohana dinner, Chef Mickey breakfast, BOG dinner (yes, I know, don't count my chickens . . .), Boma dinner, Hoop Dee Doo, and 1900 Park Fare breakfast).

This would mean paying OOP for one of those.

1. Should I drop Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare breakfast and just replace one of those with a QS breakfast? If so, which one?
2. If I don't drop one of those and pay OOP, should that meal be 1900 Park Fare since it is probably the cheapest?
3. For Hoop Dee Doo, is it worth doing the 8:30 show (later than we would normally choose to eat) to get the 1st tier seating, or should we do the earlier show and settle for the 2nd or 3rd tier seating? How much better is the 1st tier than the 2nd or 3rd tier?

We love chef mickeys. Not sure which one you should pay oop if you choose to. We couldn't get a chef Mickey breakfast this trip. Not happy

I'd drop a breakfast and do a QS in it's place. BOG will be serving breakfast when you go and that is going to be QS credits. I personally hate Chef Mickey's, but if you are going for the character interaction I would choose that over Alice at 1900PF.

2nd & 3rd tier seating at HDDR are fine. It's not worth doing the 8:30 show just for tier 1 seats, in my opinion. (Plus, eating fried chicken at 9 pm- when it's served to the table- isn't always a great idea & could lead to some late night indigestion.)
For breakfast, I'd cancel CM & pay OOP for 1900. They're both fun, but CM isn't worth the heafty price tag for breakfast, if you're paying OOP.
