Dining CR Complaint and question

Can someone explain this to me. My DW and I tried calling for Cinderalla's Royal Table this am from two seperate phones.

We started calling at 6:56am. On one call I got office is closed, and hung up and redial and I am in. I tell my DW I am in so she stops calling. A full minute later, being the competitive type she decides to call. She gets in queue a full minute after me.

Around 7:09am her call gets answered before mine. She talks with the CM and makes a reservation for Dinner instead as obviously 7:09am doesn't cut it for breakfast. She completes her PS and I am still on hold. I kept holding another minute just for haha's to see if I get picked up. NOT.

Can someone explain this to me? Obviously their system is not fair in the way they queue and answer calls.

Some have posted of having different phone lines getting different music on the same day/time. Seems as though PS's are taken from more than one call-in center. I don't know what system is used for routing of the calls but am sure your call was taken in order recieved for the call center you were "in-line" for. Hope this makes sense. When I'm calling for a CRT PS, I use my landline and my cellphone at the same time. I have alittle bit better success with my cell but sometimes it is my landline that gets through. Having your call answered in time is only the first hurdle, sometimes the CM can drop the ball Hope you have another day to try for breakfast, best wishes.

The calls come into a central hub that then "Spray" them out to the various call center queue's. Because some people will be able to comlete their call in under two minutes while others book Cindy's and then the rest of their PS in the same call, there's no way of knowing how long it will take in the queue you are in. Also people might be ahead of you in queue on multiple phones so when they get picked up on one they hang up on the others, so a queue could clear very quickly...Best advice is to try again for another day.

I've snagged Cindy's PS's twice, once with no problem at all in the middle of the day (midweek in mid September...the place was half empty!) and the other time by using four phones at once and hung up with three as soon as one got through.
