Dining Choices - Opinions Needed (Good, Bad & Ugly)

Ok. Am planning my next trip to Walt Disney World and found out that 3 other adult family members are coming, two of which have not been since before EPCOT opened. Am trying to convince them to upgrade from the DDP to the DxDP. Below are some table service restaurants I was thinking about making priority seating times for. Some I have been to before and others would be a first. What do you think? Want to hear the good, the bad and the "never go there again" reviews.

Thank you in advance!!!

Tusker House - Lunch
Yak & Yeti - Lunch (never been before)
50's Primetime
Sci-Fi Dine-In
Chefs de France (never been before)
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
Tokyo Dining (never been before)
Via Napoli (never been before)
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree Tavern (is lunch or dinner better?)
Boma - Breakfast
Flying Fish (never been before)
California Grill (have not been in an extremely long time)
Citricos (never been before)
Kona Cafe (is breakfast or dinner better?)
Yachtsman Steakhouse

The only comment I have is regarding your 2 lunches at Animal Kingdom. Are you *really* planning to be at AK two days? For our family, AK is - at best - a half day park. Personally, I'd do Tusker House for breakfast, and Yak and Yeti for lunch.

Here are my thoughts on the ones we've tried:

50's PT & Sci-Fi - We love both of these; the experience is just as important as the food for us. I like the lunch menu at Sci-Fi better.

Chefs de France - We've only eaten there once. The meal wasn't bad, but it was our least favorite of our 9 day trip. Remi wasn't there when we were there, but I'd like to go and see him. It wont be this trip, so it looks like I'll have to find a way to plan another.:)

Le Cellier - We've done this one for lunch and really enjoyed it. We'll be doing it for lunch again this trip. I'm just not ready to spend 2 dinning credits for dinner.

Crystal Palace - We've been there multiple times for breakfast. It is one of my favorite places to go especially for an 8:05 ADR. I love walking down a near empty Main St. We can't fit it in for breakfast this time, so we'll be trying it for dinner on our arrival day.

Boma - I've only done this one for dinner and absolutely loved it. We are definitely doing it this trip. For everyone else, it will be their first time. I don't know if the breakfast has the flavors of Africa like the lunch and dinner options do, but I would think that it is probably a great buffet as well. This is how we plan on ending our AK day. I don't know how so many people do AK in half a day. We're always there at RD and never finish the entire park before closing. So I think a breakfast and dinner option at this park can work.

Cali Grill - We're doing this for the first time this year.:cool1: We're planning on being there when the fireworks begin.

Kona Cafe - We love this restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney makes this one a signature soon. We love it for dinner. They get great reviews for breakfast. I like the Tonga Toast, but I can get that at the Poly's QS restaurant. In fact DH and I are planning on getting up early one morning and going to Capt. Grill for that very reason.

I'm sure any decision you make will be great. After all it's Disney! :wizard:
