Dining Attire?

Hi there,

We are only at WDW for a few days before our cruise in this coming February and am wondering about the two suppers we will have there.

Our flight lands at 700 pm, so am thinking of a 900 ADR at Boma since we are staying at AKL. We have two kids (3 and 5) and so they are not likely to be in top form after a day of travel, so we thought the buffet would be good - but is it very fancy? How do people dress?

The next day we are planning to go to MK and would like to go to Cinderella's Royal Table for supper, but if we are onsite all day doing rides etc… do we need to either a) plan to head back to AKL to change into fancier clothes or b) go in what we have on because it is not overly fancy?

Thanks for your help!!!

Boma is fine with park or travel attire. CRT, we did the breakfast there many years ago. After breakfast we were going to do MK for the day so we wore park attire. Little did I realize pictures with Cinderella were included and all the other families in line with us brought fancy matching dresses for their little girls (and outfits for the boys) and dressed them and did their hair all nice while they were in line. they literally came in with these outfits in hanging bags like they were about to get ready for a wedding. It blew my mind and I never would have thought of that myself. This was 2006, not sure how CRT is today or how the dinner is.

I think the only restaurants with any kind of dress policy on Disney property are some of the signature restaurants at the Deluxe Resorts (Jiko at AKL, Victoria and Albert's at GF, California Grill at CR, etc.). Other than that, I think pretty much anything you would wear for a day at the parks is fine.

One thing about ANY WDW Restaurant (with the exception of Victoria&Albert's)....

They absolutely understand the fact that you are at DISNEY :). You are going to be just fine :). Avoid T shirts that say "Humans - Not just for Breakfast Anymore", and you will have no issues at all :).

Are you planning on driving to your resort or using Magical Express? If you are using Magical Express you may not have enough time between landing and your ADR.

I agree with Maxiesmom. You may not make your adr and risk a no show fee.
Actually 9 PM with your little ones seems very late. Maybe just grab a QS and get them into bed faster to be ready for a busy MK day. Just my thoughts

Dress is casual at both of those.

But honestly, I would not make a dinner ADR that close to your flight. I can't even remember the last flight I took that actually got in on time. And even if it does, by the time you get to either DME or the car rental area, and wait in line, and board (or walk to your car), and make the drive... It's going to be cutting it close. And you'll likely be too exhausted and stressed from travel to enjoy such an expensive meal.

If you end up not making it, they will charge you the no-show fee.

I would either get something before you leave the airport or a QS meal at the Mara after you get to AKL.
