Dining advice near Epcot or DTD

We are looking for a good restaurant either in DTD or in the Epcot area. DH will be at a conference at the Dolphin and won't have a tix that day. So we would like to eat near there (maybe boardwalk?) or else in DTD where will plan to spend the evening. For some reason I am not enthusiastic about most of the DTD places, but am open to suggestions. And anything in the area of the conference is also great. I'd consider other hotel areas too, but would like to avoid getting too far off our path. We will be two adults so it can be a adult oriented dinner, but prefer somehting not really pricey (love to stay under $80).

We like Spoodles on the Boardwalk and in Downtown Disney we like lower level of Wolfgang Puck.

My memory isn't what it used to be and i couldn't tell you what I ate at either place just remember it being a pleasant experience.

Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club. ESPN Club or Big River Grille at the Boardwalk. There's the Yacht Club Galley at the Yacht Club. And right at the Dolphin is the Dolphin Fountain. No need for advanced seating except at Cape May. All within walking distance of the Dolphin.

More upscale are Spoodles and Flying Fish at the Boardwalk and Palo's at the Swan. Again, within walking distance. Of course, there's always Blue Zoo, Ditka's, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse but those would break the bank.

Yachtsman Steackhouse is great at the YC, or Cape May Cafe, Spoodles, ESPN. In DD, Fultons is good as well. Good luck with your choice!

We have decided to give ourselves two options: either cheap and casual at beaches & cream, or nice and elegant at Artist Point. So we made ADR's at AP and will see how we feel as we get closer. I figured it is not really in the Epcot area but DD gets out of his meeting at 5:30 and that gives us time to get over there even though it is not really on the way to DTD. Thanks for the advice!
