I think so. I did some research, and the only difference I could see between Ding Dongs and King Dongs is that Ding Dongs have a silver wrapper.

I'm sure everyone will sleep much better tonight knowing that interesting tidbit. :teeth:

Ding Dong's here in MN :) My mom used to pack them as a special treat in my lunch :goodvibes way back when!

I think ring dings are made by Drakes and Ding Dongs are Hostess. Drakes has wannabe ho ho's too.

Exactly!

I grew up in California and we only had Hostess, but my husband grew up in New Jersey, and had Drake's. I was thinking it must be regionally, but from the answers from all over the country I'm thinking it's not. :confused3

Thanks! :flower:

Please its chocolate, I'll take either. :teeth:
But if push comes shove than Ding Dong's because Hostess is the best.

ding dongs here too... have seen drakes stuff around a few times, but prefer the hostess variety:0

Drakes is a Northeast brand and Hostess is Country wide. They are all the same. Hostess,Drakes and Wonder Bread are all the same company,IBC. A ring ding, ding dong, yodel and hoho are all made in the same place on the same line.Only very slight differences in the ingredients, that being Hostess products use animal fat and Drakes doesn't.
