Dine with Shamu

Has anyone done this and would you recommend it? Do you get to touch the whales or just watch?

I am a single parent with a DD 13 and DD 10.

If Dine with Shamu is in your budget it is definitely worth it. We went last February. At the time I was 17, my sister was 13 and my stepsister was 12. We all loved it. My mom and stepdad loved it too.
You only see the whale, you dont get to touch it, but it is very close. They have the whale (or whales, can't remember) do some tricks for you. They talk about what it's like to train the whales. The food is excellent. We found it to be the best spent money of our trip.
