I was going to say something about the embellishment thing earlier to Briar Rose but work called me away (don'tcha hate it when life gets in the way of scrapping?). I don't know if I'd term it "embellishment problems". I've only recently started adding more stuff to my layouts. I had previously favored a rather "clean" look myself. Now I'm in a "throw lots of stuff on it" phase. But I'm sure that'll pass and I'll move on to some other phase at some point. All of these layouts are great... each and every one of them and I enjoy viewing them all.
Here's the latest from me. The journaling reads When Joey was in kindergarden he was in Mrs. McCloud’s class. It was a K/1 class which meant he was in a class with other kids in kindergarden and first graders. Every year, Mrs. McCloud would stage a circus. They had lions and lion tamers and clowns and all kinds of other circus fun guys. Joey was a strong man. He didn’t tell me a lot about the show beforehand because he wanted it to be a surprise. I didn’t know why he needed pantyhose, for instance, but look at those strong arms!
Thanks for the advice. I usually go for a more simple LO but when I see some of the LO's here it makes me want to add more to my page. When I try it sometimes just looks as if I am throwing embellishments on the page with no rhyme or reason. I am studying all of the LO's you all have posted here to try to learn how to be an embellishment queen!
I love the pic of your son! Kids have such a sense of fun at that age!
Thanks!
