Great first page Sunshine and welcome to digital... where it's not a chore to get out your supplies!!

I was busy this weekend transferring files from my desktop to the new laptop so I didn't get much done, but I did finish this one though its not really a page.

When my Aunt passed away in February I really wanted to do a special page/photo about sisters for my mom and other two Aunts, but never got to it. I am going to print a copy of this for my mom and two Aunts and frame it for them.

Great pages as always everyone. WELCOME Sunshine. That's your first digi LO????? WOW!!! Great job -- you're a natural! :-) Love the colors and the journaling. I didn't get much done this weekend -- but we did have a fun "Pool get-together" with dear friends yesterday, so I did do this page. Hope everyone had a special Mother's Day!

Susan-- I love it! I love how you used the picture of the sign as your background, I love how you used the flowers in the corners, I love the pictures, it all looks great! It helps that I LOVE Port Orleans Riverside, too! Nice work.

Susan, love that lo!! The flowers in the corners are so cute!

Christy, Have i mention that i totally love your pool!!!

Here is the one I did today. Its of my sister's senior pictures. For some reason I had hers scanned, but not a single one of mine. She had a part of hers at a local gardens. The other part was inside the studio. She actually had the studio part one day and the outside on a different day because it was too wet to go outside the first time. She had 3 outfit changes, but I only had photos of the two outfits.

I blurred her out of the photo per her request.

Yep, I'm posting again!!! HAHA!

I just had to share this page. It's not in any of my galleries yet (except the flickr group) because the "scratchy solids" aren't in the shop until Friday! But I couldn't wait to show you guys!

What a great page Britt! Love all the circles and the buttons down the side.

Oooh, Britt, I love it!! I love all the buttons down the side and the great colors! Goofy's outfit is cool, too! Where were these taken? Well, I know it is in DL somewhere, right? Adorable!

Oh yeah, and here is a quick page a threw together tonight with some pictures from the Pirate & Princess Party Parade and Britt's Shiver Me Timbers Kit. The layout is based on a sketch by Amsway from ScrapShare.

Ladies, once again you have posted great pages!
Sunshine, great first page! I love templates. I don't know if I could put together a page on my own or not, I am so used to using them now.
Yzerbear, that is a special page you made for your mom. My mom has 3 sisters still living. They lost their oldest sister several years ago. This is a great idea for a special gift. Your sister's layout came out nice too. What a beautiful place to have your senior pics taken. I am having my daughter's taken in June. Its hard to believe my baby will be a senior!
Mickeyfan, I can see where your page is emotional for you. You have a wonderful and brave son and I know you are very proud of him.
Hypermommy, great cruise layouts. The frame you made fits perfectly with the page!
Christy, I love the colors! It looks like a fun time was had by all. Great template. I am going to have to pick that one up.
Susan, I really like PO too. We stayed there twice before we bought DVC. Its one of our favs. Your LO is gorgeous. I like the way you blew up the pic of the signpost for most of your background on page 2.
Britt, great colors! You have so many great ideas!
Jessica, great pirate LO! I love all the layering.
I think that is everyone! I really enjoy seeing what everyone is coming up with and getting ideas for future LO's!

I realized I had finished one the other day using Britt's scratchy solids. When my oldest brother was little he LOVED fire trucks and wanted to be a firefighter. He didn't become a firefighter, but he still likes fire trucks.

When I got home I found the proofs from my senior pictures to do a layout. i used the same kit that I used for my sister's. We went to the same place for our photos, so might as well use the same kit!

With mine I removed the two photos because they were closer up and impossible to blur out. If you notice in the one that remains that its the same waterfall from in my sister's one picture.

Jess, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Britt's Goofy pics are in CA Adventure because he's wearing a Hawaiian shirt. He's wearing something similar here:

Love your Pirate LO, all the layering is awesome.

Yzerbear, I love seeing your family LO's!

Christy, Have i mention that i totally love your pool!!!

Thanks Caits. We just had it put in at the end of last summer, so we are really getting to use it for the first time this season. We are enjoying it a lot -- and it's supposed to be 100 degrees here (Central CA) on Thursday, so will definitely enjoy it THEN. You can't tell from the pictures, but our backyard is pretty tiny -- so basically the pool takes up the whole yard! It was a project coming up with something that would fit back there.

Beautiful pages everyone!

Susan -- I love how you did the larger pic with the signs in the background on the one page -- looks great.

Yzerbear -- Pretty layouts of your sister's senior pics-- love the delicate colors. And adorbale firefighter LO of your son.

Britt -- Love the Goofs page -- I really love how you did the title with the different alphas... and love the circles and swirls...sooo cute.

Jessica -- Geat pirate LO... Isn't that kit fun to work with? Love the tic tac toe grid thingy in the background -- neat idea.

Wenrob -- Love the LO -- Love the artsy papers.... and did you really make the alpha???? That's adorable! I also really like the font you used for the journaling. Do you know which one it is?

Have a good evening everyone!!

Christy yep, I made the Alpha. I copied and pasted a swirl from the kit over and over to make it solid then used it to fill my letters and did some beveling.
The font is Greg's Other Hand. I think I got it at dafont.com but I may have gotten it at ScrapVillage.com, both are free sites.

I changed my LO a little to make the pictures pop a little more. I like it better now. I think I'll turn it into a two-pager and remove the word border from one side and do the same thing around three sides of the second page, too. Here is the new version (credits are still the same)
