Yzerbear -- Pretty layouts of your sister's senior pics-- love the delicate colors. And adorbale firefighter LO of your son.
Thank you. Though the firefighter one is of my brother, not son. ;) It would be impossible for him to be my child since he is older than I by several years. ;)

I changed my LO a little to make the pictures pop a little more. I like it better now. I think I'll turn it into a two-pager and remove the word border from one side and do the same thing around three sides of the second page, too. Here is the new version (credits are still the same)

I love the mats behind the pictures. I always feel like my oictures fade into the background without them. I got the CM software for Mother's Day. I have been playing around with it some. I have not gone as far as adding the photos yet. I have to find the post that you made in response to my question about creating mats. Can you share with me how to download things from other sites and use them with the CM software? We went to the Pirate and Princess party last summer and I would love to find materials for some of those pages. I am not very computes savy!

Oooh, Britt, I love it!! I love all the buttons down the side and the great colors! Goofy's outfit is cool, too! Where were these taken? Well, I know it is in DL somewhere, right? Adorable!

Jess - Wendy was right. It was California Adventure. But it was during Christmas season, so its his Christmasy Vacaction outfit! :) LOVE your Pirate LO!! Adding the white borders really made it perfect. You'll noticed I'm addicted to the white borders!!!

Wendy - Your Beach Party LO is so much fun! Love the beach Mickey sticker!!

Melissa - LOVE the scratcy solids LO! So cute! What a fun memory. And love the other one too. That kit is adorable!!!

So, who is coming to the Speed Scrap tonight??

Brittney - love the Couple of Goofs page! Never would have thought to use different alphas. Looks great!!! Oh, and I'm coming to the speed scrap... if I can stay awake long enough :-)

Jessica - Great pictures!!!

Melissa - love the LO of your brother. Love the simplicity of the black and white that makes the red really pop.

Wen - your LO makes me just want to get to this parade! Love Mickey in the chair at the bottom. Great alpha too!!!

It is SUPER easy to use stuff you get online with SBC+. All of that stuff on my Pirate page is by our very own Britt of Britt-ish Designs! I always sound like a commercial for her, but I really just love her stuff! You can buy her stuff and other cool stuff at www.scrapmatters.com. Just go in, pick out the stuff you want, pay for it and then you download the stuff to your computer. I put all of my kits in a folder called Digital Downloads under my CM folder. Then you just have to import the stuff into SBC+ Using the My Stuff Icon (the one that looks like an artist's palette in the top left corner). If you can't figure it out. feel free to email or PM me and I"ll walk you through it.

As for creating mats, just highlight the photo you want to mat, click on the photos tab, look for the mat button, drag the slider over to the thickness you want (I use 2 a lot) and pick a color and click OK.

I love Goofy's fun outfit! Another reason to go back to DL someday, I guess! He does have a beachy outfit at WDW at the Cape May cafe, but I like this California one better. tres cool!

I am signed up for the speed scrap tonight, but it will depend where my 3 year old is with bedtime around then. We're also in potty training mode right now, so life is a tad crazy! If I can get there, I'll be there!

Here are some I finished of my son's graduation back in 2005. talk about being behind. The bad part is this is the first of his scrapbook that I have finished :rolleyes1

While I was searching for my proofs yesterday I found one of my Graduation announcements so I scanned that in to use for a graduation layout. I aslo included a scan of my diploma. My school colors were blue and gold, thus the color scheme for the layout. My high school copied the University of Michigan, even down to the band uniforms.

Did this one in response to a speed scrap over on SM last night. The really best part of it, IMO, is that I was trying to figure out how I was going to scrap these pictures of the sunrise and nothing that came to mind all day yesterday really seemed to fit. But when they started the speed scrap with "pick 3 or more pictures" and I picked these and then the next instruction was "pick 4 papers" (okay... I "cheated" just a bit and one of my papers is just a plain orange background) well, it just started to all come together. And when they said to do the journaling around the edge, I think that's what really makes this LO one of my favorites. I'm going to have to do that again sometime as I really like how that turned out.

Anyway... for what it's worth, here it is (click for credits).

Oooh, I like those a lot Hypermommy! Especially the sunrise one. I love to put text around the edge of a page (in case no one has noticed!). I was excited when that instruction was added to the speed scrap! Too bad I didn't get to finish my page...Oh well. I'll try to finish it today and I'll post if later. Nice work!

Beautiful Hypermommy!

Off to look at the challenge. Hopefully I'll be able to do this one. Anyone want to take two, two year olds off my hands?

I'll pass on the two two year olds! I have one three year old and he's enough for me!! I can't imagine having twins!! :worship:

My guys are 14 and 12 now. The only babies I want these days is give-back babies! :rotfl:

These are all such wonderful layouts...thanks for sharing them!

I saw some of the earlier layouts with a picture as the background, and I'm wondering how this is done in PSE?

Any help would be much appreciated...thanks!
