Well, I finally broke out of my rut and did TWO pages tonight!! I haven't been scrapping as much lately and finally I got into it again tonight. I did these two pages to finish up my P&P party pages (I ended up with TEN pages from the party -- yikes!!!)!! Everything is from Britt's Shiver Me Timbers, Pirate Princess, Tell No Tales, and You Can Quote Me Pirates kits.

I mean my mac downloads the file, but I can't open it! It keeps popping up with you don't have that program to open this file would you like to buy it? Or just this will not open on your computer. That's why I asking if their are mac compatible downloads and I am looking for a mac user.

No I do not have any scrap programs. I do have photoshop, but I don't know how to use it. I am in sad shape and in desperate need of help!

Actually, you are in great shape. Photoshop is the BEST program to use. What you need is an unzipping program. You can get them free. One easy one is www.extractnow.com, but I cannot guarantee it's mac compatable. You will probably have to do a bit of google research to find an unzipping program for yourself then you will be good to go.

If you look in the Digital FAQ thread, there are several sites listed with lots of tutorials to get you started once you get some stuff!

Beautiful! I love the colors. That kit is gorgeous!

Though if I could offer a suggestion . . . I love the quote, but it seems kind of lost down there in the corner. Maybe move it up above the text and shrink the text font a bit.

Its beautiful though!

Melissa: You're right about something being off with the journaling. The real problem is I want to use that quote, and the LO looks really good without the journaling. But without the journaling you don't know why the quote is so important. I'll try your suggestion.

wrong LO to show your new design BUT I LOVE when people use that template and I CAN NOT figure out how to do it in photoshop and it makes me SAD!

Jessica -- LYL at SM... but just wanted to see great LOs. The are fantastic pictures. The P&P Party looks like so much fun.

Stenogoddess -- Those are both so beautiful. I love the muted colors... the show off your pictures so well.

I reworked this first page a little to make this a double LO so I could include the pics from Minnie's Fiesta from our trip....The little show was cute, but DS's FAVORITE part was watching it from inside Goofy's pool.

Disney Cruiser - Christy, I think your Character Breakfast layout is my FAVORITE layout of yours! It just jumps off the page and says Disney to me. Awesome job!

labdogs-I always love your P&P LOs! LOL, 10 pages would not be a lot for me, I could probably get that much out of just the parade (did 7 LOs, most 2 page spreads, from the Halloween parade!) I can't believe I didn't meet Jack at the party. I have no idea how to do everything at these parties! I need to figure this out before going to MNSSHP again this year. Last year I didn't meet any characters other than the villains, this year I definitely want to meet all the characters in their cute costumes. Oops, getting completely off track here!

BTW, with my OT comment, weren't a few of you going to WDW in Sept? I remember at least 2 posters were going the same time I was, I can't remember who it is now!

steno-Those LOs are gorgeous!! "Beautiful Mess" is one of my fav kits, and the one used on your 2nd LO is so pretty (and I love that template of Britt's!)

Christy-OMG, more with the jealousy with all our LOs! The Fiesta one is so perfect, and the 2nd one is so cute. Love what you did with the daily download kit!

Quick question, does anyone use the "Memory Mixer lite" digi program? I've seen the full version on QVC (but that was before I got into digi scrapping), but when I was at AC Moore the other day, it was on clearance for $8. How could I turn that down!? Haven't installed it yet, wondered if anyone had any experience with it?

I could still do more pages of the party, but I think I need to stop or I'll never get this book finished!! I'll be in WDW Sept 19-26!! (and Nov 1-8)

I will be here at all those times.....mostly because I live 15min from WDW. And we go all the time in the fall because we like it when it is cooler.
