Melissa: When you do go to the Tower one day, plan for a whole day. I only planned half, and I feel like we missed a lot that I wanted to see. The Queens House is called that because forever ago when it was a castle that was where the monarch stayed. The name changes depending on whether a King or Queen is on the throne. The crystal thing is a pillow on a stand to mark the place on the Tower Green where various Royals and higher ups lost their heads. Us common folk had to go outside the Tower grounds into the public square across the street.

Very cool!!! Tower of London is one place I would love to go. Maybe someday. One question though, what exactly is in the second picture? Is it crystal or something? And the Queens house looks nothing like on the Tudors! ;) :lmao: :rotfl2:

You have to go to the one in NYC...Michelle is there. :)
Most definitely!!! :) Though NYC is the one place my sister REFUSES to go. I've been able to convince her to go everywhere else, but NYC. She's just a big party pooper. And I doubt I could get my one brother to go, because he doesn't really like large cities. Sigh. I need to find some new traveling companions! :rotfl:

Another one for today. I always wonder about journaling. I sometimes find myself editing for the future. Like on this one I say the Eurostar made me dizzy. What I meant was I got off the Eurostar with my head spinning and for the rest of the day basically had jetlag like I did when we got off the plane all the way from here. I'd rather drive to Paris than take that thing again. Which is a total bummer because I was really, really looking forward to it. But my journaling says dizzy.... I find I seem to do that a lot. I think no one wants to read about my jetlag, I don't have much room to journal so let's not keep the story on me, etc., etc. Does anyone else have this problem??

This Eurostar LO comes to you courtesy of Miss Britt, showed off to perfection by this lovely template by Andrea, found by the amazing offices of ikeagoddess.com. (I got tired of my usual boring credits, can ya tell? LOL)

Amazing work all you ladies are doing these days....Lots of lifting ideas ;)

I can't wait till we cruise, just 64 more days and 420 days till next years LOL... Those should keep me very busy as I tend to scrap everything LOL

KSWM Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for catching that. I am getting ready to send those to print. My husband did not notice the wrong year either. I guess he is just thinking he wants to be there in 2008.

This is not actually a Scrapbook Page, but I wanted to share since I spent so long wroking on it. We are working with our 3yo on doing her chores and earning big shiny quarters that she can save to use on her Mickey Boat vacation.

ETA: I am not sure why all the lines are not shoing up in the grid. They were there when I printed it and they re there in SBC+

Here are two I finished today.

Breakfast with Chef Mickey and friends - I was almost done with this one yesterday, but finished it today. On my sister's birthday last year we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

Crystal Palace - My sister wanted to have dinner on her birthday last year at WDW at the Crystal Palace because its where Pooh and friends are. It was an awesome dinner. The colors for this layout are taken from the sign which is the dark aqua-ish blue with cream.

I have one more from today, but its not quite finished yet.

CruiseCrzy: I love that work chart. What a great idea. Maybe I need to make myself one. Oddly, my chores and those of a three year old are about the same. :rotfl2:

Last one for the night. I have been wanting to use this kit forever! It's Sunshine Blossoms from Shabby Miss Jenn. It's so cute, but for some reason I've had a hard time finding a LO for it. I did use a template, but now I can't find it on my drive. When I do, I'll correct my credits.

Lauren, love those layouts girl! Hows the training going? Post over at the thread and lmk and give it a bump!

Michelle, love that chore chart - i am wanting to do something for my dd now,to help her earn allowance..

Great layouts everyone!!

Ladies I have been away, but I have loved looking through your pages...I need to get back in the saddle. My Best friend had her second daughter on Monday, so I did this, it printed out darker, very nice. I will put in a frame to take over.

The Simplestack templates are very cool, you print them out at 6x8", then crop it to two 4x6 photos and insert into a 4x6" photo book for a quick mini (2 page layouts) scrapbook.

bless7ings -- That's Goofy on semi formal night on the DCL Mex. Riviera cruise.

WOW!! you guys have been busy today!!

Lauren-- Awesome Tower of London page. I can't wait to go back one day... I was there when I was 17, but didn't appreciate everything I was seeing then.... Would love to go back now. Cool Eurostar page too. I know what you mean about kind of sugar coating the journaling in our LOs... I tend to do that a lot too... Sometimes I think it takes too much energy to come up with the right "words" to convey exactly how an expereince made me feel, etc... I have to be in the right mood. LOVE your Lion King LO. You're right -- that is a beautiful kit. Wasn't that an amazing musical???? And you got to go BACKSTAGE?! How cool!

Cruisecrazy -- That's a really neat chore chart.... I'm sure your daughter will be motivated by it.

Yzer -- Love the composition of both of your LOs. I'm having trouble figuring out what to do with my character breakfast pics.... may have to lift one or both of those! ;)

PJPoohBear -- That is precious! Love your title.

Here's mine for today.....

Here is the other one that I finally finished.

Make a wish - Several months before we went to WDW last year I ordered a custom cake for my sister on her birthday for our dinner at the Crystal Palace. I didn't tell her what I ordered. She was so surprised when they brought out the cake with Eeyore at our table. The cake was beautiful and tasted pretty good too. I went with Koda because they couldn't guarantee Aurora in blue and she would have been so mad if she was in pink, and they can't do Eeyore. So I thought she would like Koda. I had the hardest time keeping it a secret from her. Everyone else knew, but my sister. It was awesome. I choose the colors for this layout from the cake which was so colorful and vibrant.

I'm not sure I'm finished with this but wanted to thank everyone for their inspiration. I used Britt's sprite kit and borrowed some ideas from her & haynay.

Yzer - another pretty lo! I love how you dotted the "i" in the title. What a fun cake!

janette -- That is an ADORABLE photo! I LOVE your LO -- it totally draws the eye to the great pic. Love the torn edges and the bracket and the cluster... Love it all! I wouldn't change a thing.

Here's a page I did for an impromptu Speed Scrap over at SM... not sure if I am thrilled with it ... it's kind of bright. DS liked it though.... and I guess that's all that matters! ;)

Are there any mac digiscrappers out there?? I am totally lost! Everytime I try to learn, nothing happens. I go to the sites you say are freebies and I download and I get nothing! I can't even start. I don't know what I am supossed to do with the file after I get a background either!?! Is there someone who can help? We are leaving for Disney Aug 22nd and I would love to digi scrap them! I wont have much time before, but I want to see if it's doable so I have a plan of attack when I get back to get my pictures done something with as quick as possible.

Does anyone do the photopass? Any tips?

How bout great locations of free lance photo's? Any tip before I go or must have pics to take?

What do you mean you get nothing? Are you choosing to save the file? Do you have a program to use to scrap? If you give us a little more info I'm sure we can help.

Yzerbear I love your birthday surprise LO. And that cake looked too perfect to eat

disneycruiser2008 I love the buzz layout and I think the colors are perfect.

I mean my mac downloads the file, but I can't open it! It keeps popping up with you don't have that program to open this file would you like to buy it? Or just this will not open on your computer. That's why I asking if their are mac compatible downloads and I am looking for a mac user.

No I do not have any scrap programs. I do have photoshop, but I don't know how to use it. I am in sad shape and in desperate need of help!

bless7ings... I'm not a Mac User so I can't help you there... but I don't think that should impact your ability to DL freebies... I know there are MAC users out there making amazing LOs.... Have you checked out the FAQ thread? It may answer some of your questions -- especially about which program is right for you, etc.... there are many options.
