Just found this little part of the disboards today. :) Here is a layout I did from the Disney on Ice show last week. Thanks for looking!

Melissa, that is a BEAUTIFUL lo!!! Great job!

Welcome to our scrapbook section, binab! :D

Two recent LOs. Click for credits.

This was watching Hallowishes from the Contemporary. This template was the *perfect* size for each of the pics! I have a version with a stamp on SM, and I think I like that addition, but I forgot to upload it to photobucket to post here. ;)

This is for Krista's template challenge at SM. :) I kept playing around with different blends for the background because I really wanted to use that paper from Britt, but not in that color, and I didn't want it to clash with the other papers. I finally found the right result.

Great layouts Heather! I was just so bummed when they cancelled the P&P parties!!!

binab Welcome, love the pages lots of pictures and you really captured the moments.

Melisa Beautiful, I've loved every page you've done with the castles and this is no exception.

Kim Very neat fireworks layout, good pictures they are always hard to catch. The Pirate & Princess is wonderful, love the papers and different alphas.

Janis Love the hat, the colors really pop. The Sunset is a great use of that template, really pretty.

I've got a couple more pages, the hike to the WaterFall I've already done. I really wanted to do these pictures justice so it took a bit of playing with but I'm happy with the result.

The journaling reads:
In August 2007 we watched the news and prayed for rain as fires burned around camp. One article mentioned the Passage Creek Trail head so we knew at least some of our familiar places had been touched by fire.

Almost a year later on July 27, 2008 we were able to hike to the falls along a trail that has drastically changed. The trail was clear and except for having to cross the creek at the trailhead on a log and scale a small hill instead of using the bridge that had burned completely away it was not any more difficult than before. Nature reclaiming what it has lost was wonderful to experience. The pine trees were reduced to blackened ruins and the usual forest underbrush of moss and old trees was replaced with green grass and wild flowers that we usually see only in the meadow or along the trail where they could get the sunshine needed to grow. I loved the contrast of the black against the vibrant colors of the new growth but mourned the loss of the forest that once existed there. It was reassuring to find when we arrived at the falls that the fire hadn’t touched the immediate area. It was as beautiful as remembered with even more appreciation for the surrounding forest.

Me too. :( The parks were empty when we went (great for us, but I guess one reason it didn't make financial sense for Disney.) I really wanted to go again this year for 2 reasons, I didn't get a lot of great pics of the parade (I have better equipment this year) and I didn't get to meet Jack. Oh well, maybe they'll bring it back some day.

Ok, after stalking this thread I'm gonna put myself out there and post one of my pages. I'm not an expert digital scrapper, but I try! Here's a page I did today using a kit by Miss Kim (i think she posts here?). I still doesn't seem 100% right to me.

Oh wow, Reese's Mom! That's a very fun layout and thank you so much for using my kit!

Reese's Mom -

What a great page! And welcome to this ever-expanding group of digi-scrappers. I don't think that any one of us would say that we're experts, but we sure do love making pages! Thanks for sharing yours with us.

Just an FYI - anyone that is interested, Scrapable.net is looking for some help - incase anyone is interested - it's a great site!!! I honestly think it's gonna be a big site in time to come, great gallery, challenges and such..
Here is what they posted over there:
Our little gallery is growing!

Our team, Michelle (msbrad), Amy (Amy!), Amanda (baseball_mom), Astrid (Anika) and I (daniaj) would love a couple of enthusiastic people to join us in our quest to share the love.

We cordially extend to you an invitation to consider becoming an Aloha Girl. If you are someone who loves the feeling of putting a smile on someone's face, we want to hear from you!

Our goal is to not have ONE lei-out ever be left without some love. As ALOHA GIRLS, we are tasked with making the creators of 20 lei-outs per day blush with pride. We also get the priviledge of picking lei-out of the day...how cool is that? Did I also mention you get a little perk at the end of the month...a FREE kit? Sweet!!!

If being an Aloha Girl isn't for you, I encourage you to help us spread our message of love. Here is your challenge :-)....

For every lei-out you post, give some love to at least three other lei-outs...wouldn't their creators be so happy? :-)
