I was thinking that for father's day this year, I'd give out digital picture frames with pics of the kids and such on them. Unfortunately, I'd need 3 in order to do it. Does anyone know of a cheap (but good) place to get them? I'd love to go through mypoints or sunshine rewards for the extra benefits, but it's not necessary. Best deal I've found (so far) is on overstock.

Thanks!

I'm curious too. This would be a great gift for my father in law!

Not sure how "cheap" you want but our local Target had them on sale for 89$- regularly 129$ (I think)

I was thinking about this for my mom, but I had no idea they cost that much. I guess it isn't a lot really when you think about it, but I thought they would be like $40 or so.

My mother constantly yells at me that I don't even give her pictures of the kids (I take only digital, and rarely get around to printing them up). So, I thought I could do this occasionally for her and voila.

The target one, does anyone know if it needs a memory card? It says also plug and play avaiable - does that mean a usb cable and I can just plug it in every once and awhile and add a bunch of pics for her? (She is technically challenged, won't ever do it herself).

I got mine through Buy.com for DH for Christmas and used the Google checkout. I was able to get that $10 off and the SR credit. He love, love, loves it. We are actually thinking about getting more of them to put up around different places in the house.

Overstock is having an O-day sale starting tomorrow, so you may want to look out for that if they have good prices.

Or if you go with Target, be sure to get the 10% off coupon that most reward and coupon sites have up. There isn't a code for it. You just have to find the banner.

I got an ad today from Big Lots that they have the Coby 7" frames on sale for $75. Gottadeal says Wal-Mart has them on sale for $79, though I found one online there for $68 too.

On a connected note, 2G SD cards are cheapest right now on geeks.com
:thumbsup2

You typically just take the memory card out of your camera and plug it in the slot on the frame. Or you can get a flash drive and put the pics on that and then plug the flash drive into the frame. I have a Kodak one and I love it.

Yea, but if you want to load a bunch of pictures onto a card and give it as a father's day gift, you have to give them the card too.

There are digital key chain things that hold digital photos as well...maybe not as many or as big, but much less $$ and a fun gadget as well.

DD got one for christmas- this is really cute and they are pretty cheap.

WE gave our parents memory sticks with the frames we gave them for x-mas, we gave each of them a small memory stick thingy loaded with photos. DH and I have a bunch of 256mb & 528mb sticks that they give away at business conferences. We bought the tru-tech 7" from Target ($89.99 now- but it was only $68 on Bl.Fri.)

Target has one for $88 this week. But the sale ends today (Saturday).
