Dig Site rehab at CSR?

What's the scoop on the Dig Site rehab at CSR? Buzz (or anyone else) - do you know when and what will be going on? We are going in April and would love to have the pool and playground both available! The rehab is posted for early 2008 on the DIS main page.

Not sure if it is saying the rehab date is TBD in early 2008 or if the actual rehab will happen in early 2008. They are already working on POFQ and CBR so I can't image it is a good idea to close 3 0f the 4 mod pools in one year unless it is something that needs immediate attention. The slide was close for rehab not to long ago. If Murphy's Law is working, it will be close when I get there in February.

Me, too, unfortunately. Being able to swim and play on the playground is a huge part of CSR's appeal for us!

I just called and got a very helpful CM. She searched all the places she gets info about rehabs and only came up with a hot tub rehab at some point, but no dates. I can live with that, but I will still keep checking!

I also called and she stated that she see's no rehab to the pools as of today's date....she said no major rehabs are scheduled... but to check back to make sure...

I know it was listed on a long list of pool rehabs that came around.

Thanks for looking into this - its almost a deal breaker for me if the hot tub is closed! We will be there 1/30 - 2/2.

I spoke to the woman I deal with in making our reservations, adr's, etc., and she said all that Disney has told her thus far is "early 2008".

My travel agent at Small World Vacations said "the pool at CSR is not and will not be going under any refurbishment" and she confirmed it with Disney this morning. She asked me if I got CSR's pool mixed up with CBR's as it (CBR) will be under construction until the fall. Hope that helps - it helps me feel better, that's for sure!

Well I sure hope this is true and they are NOT doing any rehabs at the CSR pool!

If they are I just wish they'd announce the dates right away so we all can decide if we are going to change our resort. . . I'd hate to find out only a few weeks ahead of time and then not be able to get in at another resort I'd like.

I hope she correct!! Makes sense, why work on three mod pools at the same time.
