Our family has been to Universal Hollywood several times, but this is our first trip to Orlando and wondered if we should visit Universal Studios or not. We are allocating 1 day to spend at IOA (we can't wait to visit IOA!!), but should we also spend another day at Universal Studios as well? Your help and comments would be greatly appreciated!!;)

I don't think skipping the Studios would be a good thing...there's too much to see at both parks to only do a single park. The main difference between USH and USF is the tram doesn't run in Florida. Each ride has it's own building and queue....some are fantastic. If you have the time, do each park but don't rush yourselves...take your time and enjoy! :thumbsup2

Differences between USH & USF:
-No tram tour.
-Jaws is its own ride, and is very good.
-ROTM in FL is completely different than USH.
-USF has the MIB ride
-There is no "haunted house" but there is the Horror Make Up Show
-Instead of Backdraft, USF has Twister (Backdraft is better, imo)
-No Waterworld show

Just to name a few.

Plus attractions you won't find in USH like Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, E.T. Adventure, Men In Black, etc.

the biggest difference........the space. hollywood is pretty tight compared to orlando one. at least that was the first thing i noticed

I prefer the Orlando park ....because it is built as a park with coherent theming etc. If it fits into your schedule two day park hoppers would be fun and and do each park each day.
