Difference Between Swan & Dolphin?

Hi, for those of you who have stayed at both, what are the main differences between the two? Is one "nicer" than the other, or are they pretty much the same? I'm trying to decide between the two--if there's no difference, I'll just go with the cheaper rate.

i have stayed at the dolphin but we walked over to visit the swan. both have good places to eat, are close to epcot and mgm, and if you can get a good rate are a very good deal. the difference i saw was the swan was smaller and had less traffic, also a bit strange but it had a really good spa like smell in the lobby i noticed right away. the dolphin is very nice clean and impressive and had lots more traffic. it has 3 sets of elevators, west and east and central so if you stay there be sure you use the proper one to get to your room. as for which one is nicer...well both are but if this makes a difference the swan is a westin which has queen beds and the dolphin is a sheraton full beds. also they both have starbucks coffee!

I've never stayed at the Swan, so take this for what it is worth, but my SIL is a travel agent and she got big discounts at both of them but chose the Dolphin because she said the Swan was used more for business meetings, conventions, and stuff like that, and the Dolphin was more kid friendly.
Don't know if this is correct, but usually she knows her stuff!

They are both very pretty and have a great location! Have fun!

The Swan has two sinks (one outside the bathroom) while the Dolphin has one.

Thanks everyone!! Very interesting, I didn't know that one was owned by the Westin and the other by Sheraton!

That answers my question about the coffee too that I posed on the dining board. No Nescafe, woohoo!

The swan also has two queen beds while the dolphin has 2 double beds...

We have stayed at the Swan many times, but have never stayed at the Dolphin, although we have walked through it many times...

The Swan is a smaller, quieter hotel...the Dolphin is larger with much more activity...so it kinda depends on your preference of what you like better of those two...

What usually sells us on the swan is the bed size and that extra sink...but there's not really a major difference between the two..
