Difference between Swan and Dolphin?

Is there a Big difference between the Swan and Dolphin? Called yesterday and got great rates (Nurses discount) for both (Swan was $10 more a night). Have booked Dolphin but wasn't sure if Swan would have been a better choice.

This is what I currently know. The Swan has just finished it's room and hotel renovation. The Dolphin will be finished at the end of April. When I booked the Dolphin for May 5th - 10th I asked the Agent why the Swan was more expensive. She replied that it is because the Swan was finished with it's renovation. she said that I was booking at a good time because the rate increase would not hit the Dolphin until after the renovation was complete in late April or early May.

I can also tell you that the Swan is a bit closer to the Boardwalk and EPCOT than the Dolphin. All be it not by that much. The hotels I believe are connected by a walk way. They both have boat transportation to the Boardwallk, EPCOT, and Disney Studios. You can take a bus to the other attractions. You could walk to the Boardwalk, or EPCOT if you are capable.

I think which ever hotel you choose you will be very satisfied. Both are great hotels.

Big difference is size...The Swan is much smaller than the Dolphin. It is really a prefferance other than that pretty much the same. All renovated rooms in both are identical...

The Swan has two Queen sized beds and the Dolphin has two Double beds. For us, I prefer the Queen sized beds - my DH is a bed hog!

Doesn't the Swan have double sinks in the room while the Doplhin has only one? Haven't stayed at either, but it's what I've read from many on the DIS!

yes that is correct. The Swan does have the double sink on ein the bathroom and one right outside.
