I've done a search, but was unable to find a definite answer to this question.

If I go to the Photopass site, I get the option to purchase Memory Maker or the Photopass Archive. Can someone tell me what the difference between the two is?

I know Memory Maker also includes the ride pictures. But other than that, is there a difference between the two products?

Memory Maker also includes the photos taken at dining locations that offer them and is strictly a download product, while the PhotoPass Archive CD has all the pictures on a CD.

The Photopass archive is a download option as well. Its $20 more than the advanced purchase of the memory maker. Just trying to figure out what the difference is.

You get ride photos animated magic and ride videos with memory maker but not the DPAD.

The archive CD can be done as a download, but doesn't have to be. Memory Maker is strictly download; if you want a CD, you have to pay extra. And you can pre-order the archive CD for $119, so it's $30 less than the Memory Maker pre-order.

The Archive CD is no longer available.

There are two options, one is Memory Maker at $149, the other is Photopass Archive Digital Download for $169. I know Memory Maker includes the rides (many of which I don't expect to be riding). There has to be a difference between the two if the Photopass archive is $20 more. Does anyone know what that difference is?

The Archive CD is still available. Check this page:

You can purchase it as either the CD or a download. And while it says $169, if you click on the link, it asks you to sign in, and when I did that, it then showed up in my shopping cart at $119. When I click on the shopping cart icon, it then takes me to the checkout page, where it shows my cart as containing Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc, Pre-Arrival for $119. I would assume then that if I were to upload PhotoPass pictures first, then order the disc, that it would come up at $169.

Thanks. Trying to figure out which one I might buy. If I don't do the rides included, not sure Memory Maker is worth it, versus just the archive disk.

If you're not planning on doing any of the rides or dining options that include photos, I see no reason to do Memory Maker instead of the PhotoPass Archive CD or download. It only takes 2 ride photos to break even on the $30 price difference though.

I just looked. For me, to purchase the Photopass digital archive is still $169. I don't get an option to pay $119 for the disk.

That being the case, might as well pay for memory maker.

Is there a place that lists the rides and dining options that include photos? I don't see the list anywhere. Thanks.

Hmm, that's strange. I wonder why.

The rides are:

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Test Track
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Expedition Everest
Dinosaur

The dining locations are:

Cinderella's Royal Table
Akershus
Tusker House (breakfast only)
Chef Mickey's
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
'Ohana (breakfast only)
1900 Park Fare
Mickey's Backyard Barbecue
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

A of our last trip (3/14), PhotoPass Archive CD/Download was still available for advance purchase for $50 savings ($119). However, I just checked, and any old links to the $50 off PhotoPass Archive Advance Purchase now redirect to Memory Maker. So your options are Memory Maker purchased before your trip for $149 (it's just a code you link to MDE so you can purchase up to 3 days before your trip), Memory Maker purchased during your trip if you want digital attraction photos, for $199, or PhotoPass Archive CD/Download purchased anytime (before, during, or after your trip) for $169. Memory Maker makes sense over PhotoPass Archive if you are buying in advance, or if you are going to purchase more than 2 digital attraction photos ($15/ea).

No matter what I do I can't find the $119 price for the disc either. I used to have direct links, now they all take me to a MM page. I tried adding it to my cart, still shows as $169. :/

Seems like pre-ordering MM is better if you can't get the $119 price anymore. Why pay $169 and not have ride photos?

Yep, MM is better deal in advance regardless. If you don't purchase MM in advance, and don't need/want more than 2 attraction photos, PhotoPass archive is still the better option.

BTW, this no longer works :) Update: after some URL hacking, I was able to figure out the URL for the disc: https://mydisneyphotopass.disney.go.com/keepsakes/select/categoryc/c/disneyphotopassarchivedisc however when you click add to cart it still shows up as $169 -- unless someone has a different URL for the advanced purchase Photo Archive Disc.

Because it's gone :)

Are digital dining photos included at these locations? Or do you still have to buy the physical photos to get the digital photos? I just did this in March, so should remember . According to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/my-disney-experience/memory-maker/: "With Memory Maker, your whole family can be in the picture at Disney PhotoPass locations—plus select attraction and dining locations" so I assume they are included.

They no longer offer the print photos at any locations (other than Akershus and CRT where they are included ONLY until the end of the year). Yes, they are included with MM.

Ah forgot about that. So, does that mean they aren't taking any pictures at other locations, or just taking digital photos for MM?

I only want print photos and don't want either Memory Maker or this other thing. As far as I know, all photos are still scanned into your My Disney Experience site, using your Magic Bracelet, and you still have the option to go to any of the Disney photo stores/kiosks in the parks and even some resorts photo stores and purchase the photo prints there, for the character meals. And you can still buy the ride photos in print form after they are over as well.

Unless, I am wrong, you can have your photo from a character meal printed out for you at one of the Disney photo locations and take it with you or have it sent to your resort or you can also go on the website and have them shipped to your home.

If someone in the know can confirm the above for me, that would be great and I would really appreciate it. I know everyone here is all about the Memory Maker but not all of us want downloads or can afford to spend that money as well. I just want a few photo keepsakes I can look at.
