And that's just what I did. Frustrating.

Problem comes when there's only one room (or small number of rooms) available which meet criteria yet 5 or 10 people immediately try to book at 8am.

7 month reservations are a game of musical chairs. Whenever the supply of rooms is smaller than the number of guests looking to book, some will be left without a seat.

I like the fact that you can compare what is available and the point differences in one place. It makes the decision so much faster then having to go back and forth looking at each resort.

I used it recently for to book 5 nights in May, so not competing with people changing at 7 months. I liked the way it worked and DH and I are thrilled with how we ended up..

If your 7 month window is next month, that means you will be attempting to get that 2BR for Sep. You can do that booking as you mention at 7 months out but don't be too worried. Standard 2BRs at VGF were available for Sep 2014 at 5 months out. It is the studios that are the usual problem, followed by 1BRs.
