After seeing the time of the muster, 3:30p on the current MR cruise. If I can't get to the 3p meet on embarkation day to get my FE list, let me know your stateroom # ahead of time if you don't plan to upgrade at port.

They say the muster starts at 3:30, but really that is for the crew to start gathering. They did not call the passengers to muster till 4pm. Also now you do not need your life preserver anymore, just show up to your station.

I will get the FE list ready before anyone starts heading to the port and email it out. I think for last minute changes I can call cabins or text on the wave phones. Also anyone is welcome to stop by our room if you have questions. We are in 5520, right near the clubs--should be easy to find.

I have been looking into bands...found a site where they are about .40 each. I emailed them to ask about the "disney font"...awaiting an answer. I am (was) planning to give bands for FE gifts...back to the drawing board for this cruise...

We weren't sure whether we were going to be able to make this cruise, but we finally got it figured out, and just made our final payment -- we're in!

Now I just have to go read the 100+ pages of this thread to catch up!

We're so excited to be going -- we went on the Magic last year and had such a great time; now we can't wait to go on the Wonder!

We are: me (43), DH (49), DD (8), and DD (5).

We would love to do the FE, and also the bracelets (although I haven't yet read the part about how to size them, so if anyone has that info handy, that would be great).

Had to laugh-we were seriously hoping to do the B2B REPO, until I thought (prayed!) about keeping DD out 2 more days of school. And I realized we'd be packing for warm weather AND cold weather.
B2B2B - that's a long time on a ship! (AHHH, just think, no housework or cooking!)

Random question here!!! I understand that DCL carries only Coke products for their soft drink choices. I'm curious if anyone know for sure if they carry FRESCA on board?! That is mine and DH's favorite soft drink of choice. If it's on board already, we'll know not to pack! Here's hoping!!

I use compression bags, and I believe in doing laundry. So this is no worries. I have done 24 days on board with a week at the end...I am a "packing queen"! I am anticipating paying for a second checked bag coming home is all. I use a really accurate scale to make sure I don't get clipped for over weight luggage.

As far as the seasons? that is less of a worry than you think, layers work really well, and Alaska isn't a cold as people seem to think. When I was there last it was 90 degrees (that was in June) and I was told that May is usually in the 60's.

No worries about the band idea...I have back-up plans...

Cayla...you are very luck to be able to put the world on hold for that long. One day I would like to try that. Our longest anything was a 15nt Hawaiian cruise and it was Heaven.

We love our Fresca too! Sadly, there was none to be found on the Magic last year so I doubt we'll get any on the Wonder.

They informed us that they would no longer cruise unless it was longer than 7 days! They don't know about this cruise yet, so it will be a nice surprise (if we can pull it off)

I originally had our kids booked on the 2 night cruise with us. When I told them we were going on a short weekend cruise to nowhere, they both said no thanks, not interested, not long enough.

Worked out fine for me. I had paid the deposit for 4 of us, and by dropping the kids off, it paid the cruise in full and I actually got a small refund back. Plus DH and I were able to have a little time away together.

Good luck keeping the secret. Have you thought about how you're going to tell them, or are you going to just see if they figure it out by the time they announce you as you enter the atrium?

We're evil...I'm not sure how Kaylee's going to tell her girls but we're going to tell the boys that we're going to Kaylee and fam off on our way up the coast. And just about when we're almost in the atrium they'll learn otherwise. Like I said, pure evil.....but I guess that will only work if their girls know that they're cruising. I guess we'll have to figure that out, lol!

Oh yeah...has anyone heard, or know, if they are giving the pirate bandanas at the pirates dinners? Just remembered I read it somewhere here in the past year that they do this, or did this, on the Caribbean.

Just saw the thread with the Wal Mart in PV. I guess there everywhere now. I better take my Costco card then too.
