I know I am more of a lurker then a poster but I couldn't help sharing this with all of you... sounds like so much fun!!

Not sure if I am able to squeeze in another race weekend... I am hoping to do the TOT 13K (if they have it this year?... I heard 10/25?) and debating between the half and full for marathon weekend, but I REALLY want one of those goofy medals!! decisions, decisions...

OMG! That looks soo cool! Wish it was longer than a 5K, as it's late in teh training for a 5K, but it's my favorite time of year to go..... WIsh I hadn't seen it.

The Everest 5K sounds like fun, but $100 for a 5K? Seriously? I get that park admission is included with the registration, but that's still $40. For a 5K. I can run the Flying Pig marathon for $15 more! I'm glad I'll have an infant the end of September and can't be tempted!!

That race sounds very very promising! And what sucks is I was all set to do the 10K Race for the Taste and DH knows I'm bumming cause I can't fly down twice in a month to do the ToT and oh lets not forget that I'm secretively watching the air for DL LMBO

I read the race info to Ray and he seems very excited I am to check the start dates for the Food and Wine Festival because he really wants to do that again and see how everything falls together but I might be switching to the 5K. Obstacles? I hope we're not dodging those people in white again. Grrr. But not sure I'd be a happy camper if the Yeti was chasing me! I'd rather have a Disney bus chase me down than the Yeti! LMBO

Krista I'm glad you have a very good excuse to keep you from being tempted. LOL I agree on the price too though. Ouch! But it sounds like there is move involved than just the 3 miles which sounds exciting and different.

Lily you know you'll just have to do it!

And Pat I feel your pain. Wasn't it just today you were talked into the Minnie 15K LMBO OUCH!

Seriously I am going to have to move to FL and in the mean time get set on Dings and Spirit's $9 program so I can afford my addiction. Oh and I need new shoes soon too. Who ever said running was cheap lied!

The Philly Disntance Run in Sept is a half; The Philly Marathon is in Nov. We did Food & Wine last year (during ToT) for the first time and it was amazing! My DD the picky eater found new foods she actually liked and my adventurous DS experimented further.

I would love to do this event with DS...he and I did the passholder preview for EE for his birthday 2 years ago.
