Did you go to your Prom?

Yes, I went my freshman, junior, and senior years. Lots of fun. We need to see a picture of your big night.

[/IMG] My junior and senior proms were awesome. They were on a boat that cruised Lake Erie for the evening. The weather was perfect for both of them. My senior year I almost didn't go. My BF (now DH) was in the Marines and had trouble getting leave. He got leave at the last minute. So I got to dance the night away under the stars with my man in his dress blues. Cheesy I know, it was a great HS memory.

I went to my prom and loved it. I had such a blast with my friends! Crazy to think that was 10 years ago already! :rolleyes2

I went to my senior prom with a friend. We went out to eat beforehand. We went to the prom, stayed an hour, and then went home. It was boring.

I went to my senior prom with a very handsom, wonderful, caring guy who is 5 years olders than I. He is the love of my life. We were later married and have 4 grown children and are still very much in love.

I went to my prom with a good guy friend of mine. My sister went with her boyfriend so the four of us went together and we went out to eat and went to the Prom which was at the Breakers hotel (famous hotel on Palm Beach) so it was well done up. Had a pretty good time, didn't do much dancing though. Went to one after party and we were home by 2am. I'm glad I went but it wasn't anything totally specatacular.

Yes I did go to my Prom. Had a great time! We also went to the afterprom which lasted until 5:00 a.m. I went with my steady boyfriend who graduated 2 years earlier.

I went to both my proms and my winter formals which were called the Snowball and had a decent time.

I want to see more Prom pics! if I had a scanner I would put mine up.....

hope you have a great time

Yes I went to my senior prom with my DH..the great love of my life. We had fun but it was very overated and my parents were chaperones....

Had a better time at the parties later... :sunny:

I didn't go to any of the dances in high school - my crowd really didn't do that. We did hold dances in each other's rec rooms though.

I went to a few formals in college. The only ones that were worthwhile were the ones that were in a cool location - like on a boat. It was mainly fun getting ready to go in the dorms with all the other girls.

OK, I was already a bit nervous - but you guys are making it worse!

I just sent DD off to her Sr. Prom tonight.

5 couples got together and had the whole evening planned - then DD's date (who goes to a different high school) got word Thurs. that his baseball team made the state playoffs; good deal, except their first game was late this afternoon. Grrrr!

DD is off by herself with 4 other couples doing the whole dinner thing and we HOPE the baseball game gets done in time for him to get cleaned up and meet up with the group at some point.
Poor thing! She looked absolutely gorgeous - I sure hope she doesn't end up being one who comes back and posts about waht an odd night it was, but I'm afraid she's off to a bit of a rocky start. :sad2:

Got some cute pics of the 5 girls and 4 guys before they left.

I did go to my senior prom... I'm glad I went, but it was just alright.

I didn't go to mine an don't regret it at all.
My friends and I weren't interested.

I'm going to my junior prom in two weeks, so no, I haven't been to any proms ;).

Yes, I went! My date was this guy I had been seeing casually for a few weeks. Two days before the prom, his grandfather (who practically raised him) passed away. I offered to go alone, but he insisted on going even though he was heartbroken.

He sat on a bench the whole time and I spent most of the time dancing with my friends. I felt bad for him.

I went to mine. And what happened? Two of my good friends got into a massive fight, another friend got her heart broken by her boyfriend, and my date decided to refuse to dance AT ALL. Oh yeah, that was loads of fun. :lmao:

Nope-no interest in going! All my friends were going out drinking to a club in the city after it and since I was only 16 I couldn't get in anyway! Drinking age was 18 then so most people after prom went out clubbing then. I have no regrets, I thought the whole prom thing was silly..plus I was dating a guy that was 20 and no way did he want to go to a high school prom.

Yup...I went to three my senior year, and wound up marrying one of them, and he is now my DH.

I still feel bad for not inviting him to mine! That was our first date! I wore a polka dot dress with polka dot bows on my shoes....I looked like minnie mouse, lol. (What was I thinking!!!)

He must have liked it though....we had our first kiss later that night!
