Did you get your BF items you wanted?

It was oddly quiet at the stores here. We ended up leaving our dinner early b/c my dd was sick. My dh decided to drive over to Best Buy. It was about 15 minutes until opening and I was like, your nuts it will be crazy. He goes, gets number 7 and gets all the electronics we wanted at great prices. I normally BF shop, but avoid the big stores b/c I don't like the mobs. I am happy, we got great deals and saved a ton. Between that and the items I snagged early and the shopping I did last night I am pretty much done shopping. :cool1:

Got the ipad mini at Walmart. Was in line around 4:45pm an nd was #9. Had to stay in line they said so stood there until 6. Had to pay and check out there at the jewelry counter (one register, took a bit and had too wait on a few people buying jewelry, not the best set up). People were nice though and was able to get the movies I wanted, toys for the kids minus the Lalaloopsies and some other things on my list. Was out by 7. Got the old generation Kindles at Best Buy with no issues for the kids. A few things at Target. I did Kohls online thankfully. :)

After work last night I went to Target and was able buy the iPad mini that was sold out online. Im happy I got everything I needed as compared to last year!

Petsmart had their sale online Thanksgiving day, so I got a bunch of Disney apparel for my dog and cats for Xmas pics at 50% off. Went to Pet Supplies Plus and pricematched Fancy Feast at .49/can. My mom had given me a bunch of coupons, so I saved about 10. Got the Disney Infinity characters BOGO, Playstation Plus card 1 year, Rayman Legends, Jak & Daxter Vita online from Gamestop. Retro popcorn popper at CVS for 13 and two dvds from Amazon for 6 for Secret Santa work gift. Went to Famous Brands (local clothing store like Marshalls) had 40% off everything (last year was 50%), so I got a TON there- stuff for DD24, DD11, DH, DMIL, DM, Dad, and me for about 380. Just made my last purchase for this BF online at Amazon & Best Buy- two Vita games and another year of Playstation Plus. Still need to buy for DD20 and a food storage container for cats, but need to let my credit card cool off for a while.

My sister and I waited outside Target for more than 90 minutes last night, but I got everything I wanted: 2 3DS XL units (one black, one blue), Disney Infinity for XBOX 360, the $60 iTunes cards for $50, two Blu-Rays $6 and $9, Wimpy Kid book $7, and the new Zelda 3DS game $40 (not on sale). My total was right at $500, but I had a 5% Target pharmacy rewards card and my Redcard discount and it was just over $450.

My sister got the Nikon camera deal, a Razor scooter, the iTunes cards and a couple other things. She wanted the Apple TV, but the first person she asked said it was not in the "Apple store," it was by the Blu-ray players, which was wrong. Another person told her it was by the TVs, but that was wrong. By the time someone told her it *was* at the electronics counter where everyone was waiting for the iPads, they were sold out. She wasn't happy, but then today her son told her they were regular price at apple.com with a $25 giftcard back, so she bought it there.

Several years ago, most stores started to have the BF online prices start well before the instore prices. Kohl's went live on Tuesday. Walmart and a bunch of other stores went live at midnight. Target's went live with select items on tuesday and the rest at 3 AM here but I think it varied by time zone. Best Buy went live sometime in the middle of the night. I think Old Navy and LL Bean (at least in my part of the country) were probably the only major stores to wait until Friday to go live with their online sales. If you plan to shop BF online definitely do not wait until the end of Thanksgiving Day to start. If you watch the Budget Board, the start time are often posted about. In fact there was a thread titled Target Online at 3AM. :surfweb:

Things are popping up at weird times this year. Was able to get an Xbox One for DS at Target online - popped up with availability around noon time BF.

I got pretty much everything and I didn't even have to leave the house. The only things I didn't get were some Disney DVDs at TRU that were on sale Thanksgiving night. I had already gotten the Skylanders for $37 earlier in the week through Amazon so there was no reason to go up there.
I would have went out but Kohls started their BF sales online on Tuesday so I got what I wanted then and everything else I managed to get early Thursday morning. The only thing I actually bought on BF was Just Dance 2014 for $15.

Online sales started early. Was able to get bunches starting the Sunday before Tday. Especially clothing for the kids.

My annual online purchase is the 100 6x8 xmas cards @ samsclub.com for $15+tax online.

Best online deals: New dell laptop for the family. It was a super hot deal online deal and took over an hour to go through because site was slammed. After purchased that, went back to site and bought some xbox 360 games and a pair of Beats Solo $99.

my best online deals: Beats Solo $99 deal. GoPro Hero 3 Black $250 deal. All the $10 Blue/Ray combo Disney movies; $10-$25 XBox 360 games.

Best B&M deals: Ipad Mini $299/100 GC Walmart deal [missed out on the price mistake $250/$100 deal at BB]. I loved walking in at 6:30pm and seeing the crazy crowds at my Walmart and the line was so long to check out. Walked up to the IPAD balloon and the lady handed me a voucher and said to come back before 2am to pay for it. Walked right out and went home until about 11pm. Woo Hoo.

Had time to kill so went to Target. I got good deals on underwear for the family [they always have the hanes multi-packs]. It's their happy black friday gift. LOL. Got the $10 Disney Princess Toddler Doll for my niece. Scored a few more deals [movies, etc.].
Then went back to Walmart to pay for my Ipad mini with no crowds or lines. Nice. Walked around and grabbed some of the small doorbusters that were left.

Black Friday am:
Went shopping at Kohls. Forgot my $5 bfriday card. Darnit. But had the 15% coupon and got the $15 per 50 gift card. Good deals. Went mid-morning as I didn't want anything 'hot'. Short line. Everything I wanted was still there.

Bath & Body Works. Stacked a free gift w/purchase of full size shower gel and 2 $10off$30 and got the VIP Bag. Good haul.

But I'm not done.

I still need pjs for 2 kids and slippers for 2 kids. And 2 extended family member gifts.

I'm not a big shopper much less a BF shopper but I snagged the two items I was after. Got a tv from Sams online Wednesday night as part of their BF deals. Also got 50% off gift cards for a local eatery.

For those of you who do the Target cartwheel, this morning they added the Lego city forest police set for 50% off. Original price $99, BF deal $50 and with the cartwheel deal $25. I literately ran to target to get this deal it's only valid today though.

Thanks for the heads up on the Lego Cartwheel deal! :thumbsup2

I was able to snag the last Avengers themed (Super Hero Quinjet)!!:cool1:

My DS has a bday right before Christmas and he LOVES Legos!!:yay:

It was originally 69.99 but with the Cartwheel coupon it was 34.99!!!!:goodvibes

I saw that too, was looking to see if any stores locally had it (to make it owrk me going out at this hour), and I got the same thing. I know when I was at 1 store last night they looked as if it was out (it was a BF Doorbuster) so I think I am going to pass on heading out. It is a good deal though if you can find it!

Target near me had them fully in stock. I'd call and ask to make sure.

What's cartwheel target thing about?

I was able to get everything I wanted plus tons of stuff I didn't want thanks to all the stores offering online deals this year

I was able to price match Target on the 3DS XL ($149) at Walmart on Thanksgiving night so that was the main thing for me.

Went to Home Depot at opening and by the time I found the work platforms for $18 they were GONE (5 minutes after 5!!). For the first time ever I was tempted to take one off someone's cart lol. My DH does body work and works on a lot of trucks. I bought him one last year at Lowe's and he loved it.

Got lots of stuff online on Wednesday. Clothes mainly. Infrared Thermometer from Sears. Various things. I had gotten the Disney Infinity in the Walmart screw up a few weeks ago and then Swap Force at last weeks Walmart sale.
