Did you ever write a complaint letter and get an answer?

We had issues at the WL and I wrote to the Manager. I got a voicemail from someone in the "executive offices" saying a representative of the company would be in touch me with shortly to discuss my concerns.

That was a week ago. They haven't called back. :confused3

Nope -- if I have any issues that rise to the level of a complaint, I address them with Disney right then and there. Writing to complain after you leave usually doesn't result in much other than a letter of commiseration, since there's really not much Disney can do to correct the situation after the fact.

I did try to resolve things when I was there. :confused3 Well, we'll see what happens.

Sorry for the difficult time. My experience with writing to Disney is that more often than not it turns out to be one-way (me to them). Of course, Disney's idea of the time frame for "shortly" can be quite different from others. Here's hoping you hear back from them in the next few days. (Maybe they are investigating the complaint and waiting for some feedback.)

Haven't had any experiences with this myself, but anecdotally from other DIS-ers, you may be waiting a couple of months depending on the situation. You might be waiting because in their minds it's a minor complaint... and if it's a serious situation (meaning they think you might sue) you may still wait while they send the complaint to the legal department.

It wasn't a potential legal issue. I'll just try to be patient.

BTW, AWESOME avatar! :earseek: VERY VERY cool!

Also BTW, I see you are a stepmom. Me too! To four! (Not custodial though.)

We had an issue on our honeymoon with a one night stay at the Pop Century. I wrote a letter and a few weeks later got a message from the executive offices. We played phone tag for a few weeks, but I eventually was able to talk with the representative. She was very nice and allowed me to explain the whole situation. She did end up sending us a letter for a free nights stay at the Pop Century. I would just hang in there and be patient.....
