Did you ever pull a muscle and heard a "snap"?

This morning while rolling over in bed, I heard a snap in my neck and the next thing I know, I couldn't move it at all. Right now it's really stiff and painful. I've had stiff necks before, but I've never actually HEARD the injury happen. Have you? Am I doomed?

Nope, by back does that when it goes out. Takes a day to move it again and 2 to get back to almost right. sorry!

OUCH! Many years ago, I was brushing my hair one morning and the same thing happened. I heard a snap and OH MY, my neck was frozen for many days. Hope your stiff neck goes away sooner than that, they are miserable things to live with.

I just had to run to the store and I found that driving was a challenge. Turning my head to look around really hurt. I'm going to go find some Ben-Gay and be a couch potato for the afternoon.

Been there done that. Warm compresses and tylenol, motrin or alleve for any pain or discomfort. (((HUGS))) to you.

Sounds liek one of your cervical discs moved out of place. I did this about 6 weeks ago, saw a chiropractor, all better now.

Sure hope your neck feels better soon. Mine did that, but I was already having problems (they claimed it was stress) and I went to physical therapy for 5-6 weeks in June and part of July. I still have problems with it off and on!

Yes, driving was a nightmare when it was at its worse because to turn my head was almost impossible!

Not only snap, but crackle and pop, too! The older I get, the more noises I hear.

If your problem doesn't pass in a day or two you should see a doctor. Hope you feel better.
