Did they improve FP+ for Fantasmic?

Last year it was useless. We went in with everyone else and there was no special seating. We're going again in 3 months. Does anyone know if this is actually a Fastpass now?

Good RESERVED FP+ sections (starting at nearly the center of the theater.)

Guests with FP+ should still arrive at least 20-30 min. before show-time.

Yes. FP+ and Standby enter at the Main Entrance. FP stay on the left side of the walkway and Standby stays on the right. FP fills all the left side seating of the amphitheater; Standby has the right and Dining has the Center Sections.

Nothing is "reserved with the FP+ at Fantasmic. On some days, expect a certain number of SB to sit with you, or on other expect them to be separated. The FP only guarantees your seat somewhere in the theater as long as you show up by the end of the window.

We just used a FP for this last week and were very glad we did. We love the show but hate the line. I would recommend using FP+ .

The FP entrance is next to the stand by entrance. Both sets of lines will enter their "holding areas" at the same time. The FP "holding area" is to the left and standby is to the right. When it is time to be seated the FP line goes in first and standby follows. We were seated in the center in the Mickey section.

I can't speak to FP+ for this show, as we always do the Fantasmic! dining package, and our seats were excellent. Reserved in the center of the amphitheater (as opposed to the right side the last time we were here).

I know that when we entered, only dining package guests were being allowed into the center (Mickey) section. About 15 minutes before the show started, they opened those sections up to anyone.
