Did the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour

We were thinking of taking this tour next month but I'm glad I did the research here first. The lack of Walt's apartment is real a loss. A friend took the tour right at first of year (not sure what day) and said they didn't even get into the Dream Suite. They said the tour guide seemed kind of lost with no "big item" on the tour.

For those who have taken the tour very recently, what do they do with the DL Railraod being down......I am assuming they subsititue something else but am wondering what that might be.

Is the dream suite a regular thing? I'd do the tour just for that. Shame about the apt. So glad I got a personal 1 on 1 in the apt with my guide and both the old and new c33 but I've yet to finesse a dream suite tour.

We did the tour last April and really enjoyed it. At the time, the tour of Walt's apartment was still included, we are so glad we decided to do this tour. They did not allow pictures in the apartment, but did take one of us.

The Dream Suite is still on my bucket list too, but I want to spend the night there!! LOL!! It sounds like the Dream Suite has replaced Walt's apartment and the Club 33 lobby.

I feel so blessed that I got to see the old Club 33, along with the new one, and also got a personal tour of Walt's apartment, with no rope. We were there for about 1/2 an hour and got to roam around and sit where ever we wanted. It still seems like a dream! The best dream ever!!

Me too!!! I only know two people in real-life who've stayed there, but they are some of the biggest Disney fans you'll find, so it was uber great to see them experience it vs. just big $ individuals.

We'll meet for a drink and DizMe and I can tell you about it. I had the thrill of my life there!

I'm so glad to hear the 2 people you know that got to stay at the Dream Suite were BIG fans! I love hearing that, rather than the big $$ individuals that have no idea how much it means.

Darn they took the apartment and club 33 off the tour. It is not worth $100 any more. They need to lower the price big time. We are tending to agree with you. There truly is something to be said for the insider type information and such one can get on the tour but even though Walt may have had the idea for the Dream Suite, it isn't the same as the option to see the apartment was. The price point is high given what it is seeming like you get...not that we think anything at Disney is a cheap date
